Are you nervous?" Atlas looks out the window, watching the buildings pass by us in a blur, "I'm really nervous. But I know with you by my side nothing can go wrong." "You give me too much credit," I mutter, my eyes never leaving Atlas's large hand on my leg, "You're the one doing all the work and making things happen. I'm just here for moral support and helping you out where I can. You're the mastermind."

Her reflection stared back at her in the polished metal walls, dark circles under her eyes, tired skin, and the haunted look of a mother who hadn’t slept properly in weeks. She whispered to her reflection, “Be strong. Do it for Emery.” When the doors opened, she stepped into silence. The top floor was nothing like the rest of the building. It was colder. Sharper. Everything screamed power and control, from the black furniture to the floor-to-ceiling windows with a view that stretched over Manhattan like a kingdom. And there he was. Atlas Thorne. I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.

We spoke to your lawyer and…” My legs suddenly felt heavier. How could I forget the plan and the real reason I came tonight? I had to make a decision. If Atlas did not grow closer to me to save Lovie and he was trying - doing everything to fix the fractured bonds… Was it right to leave when I was an arm's length away from everything I wanted? Did I… did I still want Atlas? Or was I finding roses where they were thorns?
