It felt like I am venturing through a maze, a treacherous place, but instead of monsters, it's full of shitty clowns and weirdos. I can't escape their incessant and relentless chuckles, no matter how hard I try. They're everywhere, mocking me, making me feel small. It's like they're some kind of parasites that I badly want to crush between my fingers. Sounds crazy, but I am being honest here. I meant it when I think about these disturbing thoughts.

I am glad he isn't making fun of me. “I thought you said you weren't scared, little wife?” He asks. "I..I.." I stutter. The truth is that I am scared of ghosts and most especially, clowns. “That was a lie," I say truthfully, feeling really disappointed in myself. "I just wanted to impress you, I'm sorry.” I hear him sigh and feel embarrassed. Just as I am about to say something, a red-eyed, evil clown pops out from a box, scaring the hell out of me! They don't look robotic, they look really real! They are slowly approaching us, baring their sharp, elongated fangs at us.

“Clownophobia, coulrophobia. Sounds similar, though.” Her words were light, and it couldn't be more obvious what her intentions were. They all laughed, and her smile brightened at how easily the moment lightened.

Clara stood up, transformed into a complete creature distinct from the one that had clawed Ella and her friends just days before. This creature's eyes were a piercing shade of red, and two long fangs protruded menacingly from her mouth, yet she still retained a semblance of humanity in her appearance. "Well, well, well. How many nasty creatures do you have inside you? I always knew you were an ugly bitch," Ella said mockingly, her words dripping with disdain. But Clara offered no response, remaining silent and unyielding.

It was as though we’d shut off the outside world – even though I could hear screeching laughter and muffled swearing all around us in the maze as people flooded in. We made it through the deadly circus, which was filled with clowns – the same clowns who’d been stood with us before the start of the event, though they suddenly seemed much scarier, more menacing, as we tiptoed through their section of the maze. They performed gruesome tricks, and I held Skye close as we passed.

Don't I look pathetic? A tissue appeared right in front of me. I was silent for a few moments. The tissue owner is none other than someone wearing a clown costume. The clown face is wearing a colorful mask with a round nose. I chuckled as the clown danced while rubbing his bloated belly, maybe the size of his belly is the same size as 2 basketball. "Take this tissue from this handsome clown. You don't have to worry, I'm not a bad person." The clown wrote on the small blackboard he was carrying.

Or is this some cruel coincidence? And then she steps closer, her smile shifting into something far darker. “What’s wrong, Claudie?” she purrs. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” The air thickens around us, and my blood turns cold.

Jess just stood there as if her legs didn't work as the stranger reached out and smelt her hair. "Hey! What the hell are you doing you CREEP!" Jackie yelled as she ran over. "Let's go Jess." Jackie pulled her by the arm and they rushed for the door. Jess could hear the guy talking to himself as he watched them leave, "Such a pretty girl, I'm gonna getcha pretty girl." Jess noticed that he was missing a few teeth when he smiled at her through the storefront window. "What a creep, what the hell was wrong with that guy? He was probably some kind of pedophile. Why did you even let him close enough to touch you?" Jackie went on rambling as Jess sat in silence.

Piercing wails echoed from every direction, deepening the chill. The corridor was narrow and winding, its walls covered in distorted murals, with tattered drapes hanging loose. A cold draft seeped from somewhere unseen, carrying a stale smell. "Bruce, this place… feels so creepy." Claudia's voice trembled, and she leaned toward him. Bruce did not respond. His steps never slowed, his gaze fixed ahead. He kept enough distance between them for another person to stand. Suddenly, at the corner ahead, a "zombie" in pale-white clothing, long hair covering its face, lurched forward with stiff movements. It let out a low growl and lunged straight at them.

I ask in a shaky voice, and choruses of ‘no’ are heard, causing me to curse out my luck. "I think we should just breathe and think positively. We can't show fear in the face of—" "Oh ladies... " "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" I scream aloud as the creepy clown from the TV is now standing in front of us with his disgusting mouth curved in a smile. The other girls are screaming as loud as me, or I'm screaming as loud as them. I can't tell which is which. All I know is that I'm scared out of my mind and that I cannot breathe.
