We tried a claw machine and ended up with two stuffed animals each after 24 attempts. When we ran out of tokens, we ate at a restaurant on the mall's second floor. "Here," I said and handed a white stuffed alpaca to Gio. "What exactly is this?" "A stuffed animal?" He laughed. "I mean, what for?" "Nothing, thank you," I mumbled. He laughed and stared at the stuffed toy before placing it on the chair next to him. "I'll call her, Nola," he said, laughing.

His patience wasn’t the longest. He chuckled awkwardly, "You’re too impatient... I was going to say thank you, because you obviously didn’t hit the bull’s eye at the last one. But you still win the second prize. It’s either coupons for the takoyaki place right next to us or this squishmallow." He lifted the stuffed toy he was holding, and it was the same thing he had won the other day. Allen even had the smaller version in his pocket just because he didn’t know what to do with it. "That penguin again..." He mumbled.

Slowly, I pull it out, making sure I don't turn too fast but when I do turn to smash him on the head, I freeze. "Straw—" I blink in the low lighting of my room "Strawberry?" "Is that some weird kink you have or something? Sleeping with a bat?" He had obvious irritation in his voice as he spoke "And what the fuck is it with this many clowns?" Clowns? Forgetting that he's the same person who slammed me to a wall and I should clearly be terrified of, I pull Betsy to my body. She's a pink plushy and I growl protectively "Betsy is a cute rabbit! It was a fluffy gray wolf with bright, friendly eyes and a little blue ribbon tied around its neck. I reached out and picked it up, squeezing it gently. The softness was comforting, and I found myself smiling without even realizing it. “That one’s really popular,” the red-haired attendant said as she walked by. “We just got them in last week. Super soft, right?”

I finally find my voice. "I'm Bubbles! Mr. Wolf sent me to cheer up. No one is allowed to be a saaaad boy on my watch! Not me, Bubbles the dancing clown!" Mr. Wolf...Logan! That bastard did this! "I'm not sad. You can leave," I proceed to pick up my phone to call for help, but the clown smacks my hand with something, making me drop the receiver. I gape at the thing in his hand and realize he used one of those comically long-stemmed flowers.

Peering down, a small smile curved her lips at the sight of another dear friend. A cute and tiny four-legged creature looked up at her with his innocent beady eyes. The fur that surrounded his eyes was spotted in a different shade of purple. Two feathery wings were sticking on either of his sides, and two baby spiral horn

Clay smiled as he walked to Liala and grabbed the bag from Jenna. He pulled out a dragon stuffed animal and Liala’s eyes lit up, “Mr. tinkles!!” she scream. Clay smiled and she grabbed the old stuffed animal. “I was afraid you wouldn’t remember him.” Said, Clay. Liala had tears in her eyes, “How could I forget Mr. Tinkles?” She hugged the stuffy and looked at Clay, “so you went home?” she asked. Clay nodded and Liala frowned. “I would like to go sometime.” Clay nodded and smiled at Liala, “How about we go while Jenna’s away?”

Milan pouted her lips and said, "I just want my Shiba stuffed toys. The challenge of getting the toy is a perfect distraction. Try it!" A claw crane or claw machine was an arcade game known as a merchandiser. One has to direct the crane in the correct position and drop it at the right time to get the desired stuffed toy. Milan chose her own machine, saying, "My eyes are on the Shiba stuffed toys. You can put your energy into the paw patrol toys."
