The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

By the lack of lighthouses and coastal themed buildings, I could tell we weren’t in Maine anymore. There was a very old looking medieval Tavern sitting directly in front of us. I was in awe because it looked like something straight out of a fantasy novel. The weathered timber and cobblestone that makes up the main structure seemed a bit worn. Chipped stone and peeling paint off the wood gave it quite a charming, quaint feel. The roof, while more modern, still had a thatched appearance and I could see moss making its way across the south corner and down the exterior. Long, leaf covered vines strung the expanse of at least two thirds of the entire building.

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

Angel_of_Deathseducing my aunt
"Hmmm... I bet the owner of the store put more effort into writing it rather than thinking the title itself." The tavern was like an 'eat-all-you-can' place. They have to pay 100 gold coins per head if they would like to eat. An additional 50 gold coins if they would like to stay for the night. Audrey pays a total of 250 gold coins. Just enough for food for two and one room in one night. All expenses paid, thanks to Nero and Lee clan's treasury. ~~~ [Well it was such a pity to just let you guys piling up there useless. Come with me and I will put you to good use.]

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

It looked like every other building, no signs or obvious indications of what kind of place it was. It turned out to be a tavern. Derren’s Sauce, the one Loran had mentioned. Drinks were being served to unsavoury types crowded around small tables. There was the slightest of pauses in the intense furtiveness as we entered, and then normal furtiveness resumed. It was a dark and dingy establishment, full of shadowy corners and shady characters. Everyone had a weapon of some kind. Blades hung from belts, glinted from the tops of boots or lay within easy reach on the tables. Many of them had missing limbs.

To live or to love

To live or to love

The place was dimly lit and filled with smoke, the scent of alcohol lingering in the air. Gasher, Zen, and Furo made their way into a tavern, it was filled with people from all over the town. The air was thick with the scent of ale, smoke and roasting meat. Gasher and Zen found a table in the corner, where they could observe the rest of the room without drawing too much attention to themselves, while Furo went to the bar to order a drink. The tavern was filled with locals, all of them talking and laughing as they enjoyed their drinks. The three men found a table in the corner and sat down, trying to blend in with the locals.

If Tomorrow Never Comes

If Tomorrow Never Comes

“Denino’s Pizzeria and Tavern, please.” A broad smile spread across the cab diver’s ebony face. “You got it! Denino’s coming up!” Logan wrapped his arm around me, and I slid against his side as we watched the scenery pass by. But Logan grew strangely quiet. I thought it was probably because of the memories of his childhood, but I had a feeling it was something more than that. A few minutes later, we pulled in front of a rustic, stone building. Logan paid the driver, and then turned to me as we took in the building. “Well, you said ‘no frills’.”

Secrets of the Luna

Stella said. “Do you like crab?” Callie asked. “It’s my favorite food.” I gave her a little smile. “I bet you are getting the shrimp and Grits, Stella?” “You would be correct!” “Good afternoon! My name is Matt. Can I get everyone started with a drink?” “Can I get a glass of whatever red you have?” Callie asked. “Sure, and you, sir?” “Crown and coke,” Damon said. “Cranberry and vodka.” Stella said.

I am in love. I see a little of Kristen in Grace with her clumsiness and her attitude. Overall, the story is well written. I love how Grace sticks up for herself even though her mouth can get her into trouble. I am curious how much of a hold her family truly has on her.

Love the book although the plot is just a repetition of Tattooed Luna with a few differences. Same storylines… FL with complicated childhood being hunted down by villain with Mafia ties and overprotective brother is also in the mix. Just too similar in my view. But enjoyable nonetheless.

The village seemed to be a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, with cobalt metal structures rising gracefully from the ocean floor. As they continue, they arrive at their destination, the Serpent's Blood Inn. The inn's architecture is an impressive feat of craftsmanship, crafted entirely from cobalt metal. Its rounded shape resembles a coiled serpent, with the eve designed as the serpent's head and upper jaw. The serpent's eyes, made of glass, gaze enigmatically at all who approach.

Alpha Erik

Holding his head higher and puffing on his chest. “It’s none of your business how I got here. Now, if you aren’t going to order a drink, I have others to attend to.” He muttered. “Very well, I’ll take an ale. Actually, make it a double I have time to kill.” With a nod, he turned and grabbed two steins. Filling them before placing them before me. I handed him two gold coins. He grabbed them, stuffing them in his apron before moving on to the next person at the bar. I shifted from the bar and headed to a table at the far end of the tavern. Far away from prying eyes as I watched people come and go. The tavern was dark, the flames of the fire were burning hot, and the lights above dimmed. The wo

Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!
