Cody After the shoot, I had dinner with my folks, boy is my mom upset I have to leave for Dallas, her little boy is leaving for a few years. I feel for her, I don’t know how I would cope. We’re close my folks and I, they’re my life and rock solid, always have been. Not like some of my friends I knew when I was growing up. After we both order a bourbon on the rocks at the nearest bar, Ryder and I soon grab our drinks and head over to his parents so they can acknowledge their son's presence. "Mom, Dad," Ryder calls for them just as they've finished their conversation with another couple. The two turn around and are left nearly speechless. "Sweetheart?" "Son?" They recognize him simultaneously, and his mom embraces him while his dad extends a handshake. "You're really here?" His mom questions in disbelief, but Ryder just gives her a small smile. "And who's this?" His mom looks at me, and based on her very wide grin, I hope she isn't thinking what I suspect she is.

"Complicated?" He turned to Kael. "Mr. Kael Rhodes, I think you and your father really are a case of ‘the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.’ Your father was married but still deceived people by claiming to be single. Later, he even abandoned his wife and child. If I remember correctly, Mr. Kael Rhodes, you were married as well, but still mixed with other women. Now it’s all come full circle, and you both have gotten what you deserved." Teddy coughed uncontrollably, while Kael’s eyes reddened. "I don’t care who you are, even if you’re his son, the Rhodes will never be yours."

Cody left me alone for a while I'm guessing because I was a sobbing mess. It didn't take me long to find her name. I was then soon on her social media pages before I'd then made it to the people in her life. She's got a brother who's paralyzed and she's a big advocate for people living with disabilities. Her mother's name is Paula and her father - Gregory, likes to play golf. They're a tight-knit family that's involved in each other's lives and they seem to be supportive of one another.
