I chuck it away in the end. Time passes, though long or short I do not know but someone finally comes up from behind. The person carries a big black umbrella and it shields me from the rain. I assume it is Rhodes, he had been sticking to my side ever since he brought me the news of Helios’ death. Rhode says nothing and finally, I turn around. “Caleb…” my voice cracks when he kneels down to hug me. “Shhh…it’s okay. You can cry. You don’t have to hold it in,” he whispers, gently rubbing my back.

Colby put his arms down, limp and they both stood there in the parking lot, Colby began to shake, I got worried so I placed a hand on his back. "Colby, are you okay?" I asked worried. He turned around and pulled me into him with such force I fell into him, he was crying. His hands tangled into my long dark hair holding my head to his shoulder. We all were silent except for Colbys crying, Jason shook off his hand. "Damn he has a hard face," Jason joked, then sighed realizing he might have gone too far.

"You... why are you crying?" "You should kick me away, out of your life. Even as your fake partner, I don't deserve you. Rhodes, I am sorry. I am really sorry. Ahh, I am sorry." Covering her eyes with her hands, Celeste burst out in tears and the sound of her crying loudly echoed in the air. "Celeste Banks." "Ahh. I'm sorry, Rhodes. Please, I'm really sorry to hurt you. Gregory truly was a lunatic! Anathea lowered her head, covering her face with both hands. The room was quiet, as she was the only one there. The only sound was her soft sobs. Jenny stood outside, watching Anathea's thin shoulders trembling as she cried. Her heart ached for Anathea. Just then, a small figure walked into the room. "Mom, why are you crying?" Xander asked with concern. He brought tissues and gently wiped Anathea's tears, mimicking the way she used to comfort him when he cried.

"People are saying Carlos Reyes is still alive. What do you think about that?" Everything inside me broke like glass hitting the ground. The questions, the mean hints, and the twisted lies mixed with tiny bits of truth, it was too much. Way too much. The cold air burnt my lungs. My chest felt tight. "I—" I tried to speak, but my voice cracked. "I can't—" And then I was crying. Not the quiet tears of a strong woman, but the loud, messy sobs of someone who couldn't take it anymore. Right there, in front of twenty cameras, I fell apart.

" Now she sounded like she was about to cry "Don't have any other best friend okay" she just cries over the phone, which makes me break down too we were both crying like babies over the phone and my mom began to cry, Johnny's mum too then Johnny Caleb sobs a little "dude are you for real?" Luther said with an unbelievable expression "Sorry" he sobs "I just have a little something in my eye, I think I need some fresh air" he rushes outside

“Shh. I’m here. I’ve got you. Cry, Kayla. Cry for him. Cry for me. Just don’t stop breathing.” I cried into his shirt. I cried until my throat was raw and my eyes burned and the tears wouldn’t come anymore. I cried for the son I’d named too late. I cried for the mother I’d never get to be. I cried for Ryder, who was holding me together with shaking hands and refusing to fall apart until I did. When the tears finally slowed, exhaustion pulled at me. The drug, the grief, the adrenaline crash. My eyelids felt like lead. “Stay,” I whispered. “Don’t leave.”

He passes out for a moment, so I grab a cup on the side and turn on the tap, filling it before throwing the cold water across his face. "Thank you" Ryder say and I tip an imaginary cowboy's hat at him. He wakes up sputtering, and when he sees Ryder, he makes a moaning noise and tries to crawl between my legs. Stomping on one of his hands until I hear his bones crack, I lean down. “You should not have taken this contract, you should not have come for my mate and her pack.” He whimpers and big, fat tears roll down his face as he looks up into Ryder's eyes and sees his death.
