They stepped inside, holding up their torchlights, only to be met with a room filled with garbage. The stench was unbearable, thick and suffocating. Amidst the filth lay a worn-out, grimy mat—it had been my bed. The only possession I had was a tattered doll I'd brought from home. The doll stood out in the squalor. Its age was apparent; the fabric was faded and patched in several places. Yet, it was clear the doll had once been cherished, lovingly repaired by its owner.

"I didn't know. I swear I didn't know… Oh, Adam, my boy!" Hooray. I was Mommy's child again, not a jinx. What a wonderful thing to hear… but it was just too late. The harsh sunlight illuminated the scattered piles of earth and the open coffin that reeked of death. It shone upon me, the boy who would never cry or beg again. The guests covered their mouths, their faces alarmed with horror. "Did they actually stuff their kid inside a coffin and suffocate him to death? How can anyone do something like this?"

We got to a corner and at the far end of it, there was a dimly lit platform that was shining in faint hues of gold and silver. And on the platform, two coffins were rested on a stone side by side. Kaiden stopped and let out a small gasp as if he was trying to gather strength before speaking. “We’re here,” he finally said moments later. I moved closer and stared at the strange symbols that were carved onto the surface of the coffins. One had a crest carved into it, it was a silver wolf howling upwards toward a crescent moon while the other coffin was smooth but it glowed faintly. It looked like the stones had absorbed a lot of magic and darkness.

If the situation gets worse, the person will die. Then suddenly, after picking the Biennial flower, Oralie's gaze was locked on a coffin lying in the corner. The coffin lay dormant there. Moss had grown to a full covering, covering the original beauty of the splendor. The wood is probably rotted away because it has been left for too long. Even if this is the best wood, it can not avoid the cruel hand of time. Oralie carefully approached, and around the coffin suddenly appeared pure white letters. They leaped from the ground, stabbing toward her as if they were sharp darts themselves.

She fell to the ground and groaned in pain, at once, the bleeding soldier dragged her by the hair, his eyes spotted a coffin not far away from where they stood, at once, his companion opened the lid of the coffin, an offensive odor filled the cave. Lilia screamed as soon as she realized that they were going to drop her in that coffin, her heart was racing and her nostrils inhaled the awful smell. Each soldier covered their nose as they dragged her towards the coffin. As soon as Lilia got towards it, she saw a corpse with rotten flesh, worms and flies were all over it as the decayed skin was so disgusting to look at.

Fresh earth was scattered everywhere, and the signs of desecration were glaringly obvious. "Olivia, stay calm! Don't look!" David embraced her tightly, turning her body away from the gruesome sight. Olivia's tears fell, mingling with the dirt and dust on her cheeks. "Mum... Mum... They can't! David, this is too much! Even in death, they won't let her rest in peace." "Why is the coffin missing? How is that possible? It can't be that the coffin was made of special material. It shouldn't have disintegrated in ten years, so why is it gone?" the woman said.

“He believed they should leave behind truth.” She pointed toward the nearest coffin. “Each one protects a final confession.” Isaac slowly approached the blank coffin. His fingertips brushed the aged oak. “I helped build these.” Alexander looked at him. “You built coffins?” Isaac smiled sadly. “No.” “We built vaults shaped like coffins.” “To remind ourselves that every secret should eventually be buried.” A sharp metallic click echoed through the chamber. The blank coffin unlocked itself. Its lid rose slowly. Everyone instinctively stepped back. Inside…

Randy started spam calling me, but I answered none of his calls. I ended up answering after he used a different phone, and he started yelling at me, “Emma, you’re the one who’s in the wrong! Why are you still kicking up a fuss?! Are you ignoring me to get my attention?! “Have you forgotten that it’s our marking ceremony today?! “This place smells like rotting history.” He said nothing, guiding me deeper into the darkness until we reached the center, where a small shaft of light from a hole above barely illuminated the room. "Naomi, why don't you keep Celeste company? The food will be ready soon," James said giddily. He had dreamed of this moment countless times, and it had finally become reality. Celeste unwrapped the presents happily. There were all kinds of gifts—dolls, books, blocks, and even virtual pets. As Naomi watched Celeste, a wave of bitterness washed over her.
