I stared at her, utterly exhausted. “I don’t even know what that means.”
“It means,” she said with a dramatic flourish, “that we’re a power couple, and we need to act like it. Trust me, Liam’s family won’t know what hit them.”
“That’s what I’m afraid of,” I muttered under my breath.
She linked her arm through mine and smiled up at me. “Oh, don’t be such a pessimist, Alex. This is going to be fun.”
