Curse of the Hallow Moon
Matt held his left upper arm, biting his lips as it hurt more than he’d ever known.
“I will live even if you kill yourself.” Arianna stated, laughing mockingly.
“Dammit! I despise you.” Matt yelled louder this time, running towards the open lake.
Several whispering spirits followed him, left, right, and center while he felt his own was nowhere to be seen. In the pitch dark, under a reddish-black sky, near the hollow lake where the currents awaited his downfall, he rushed, tripping and hobbling, holding his upper arm and knee.
