My Monster

My Monster

But then, it vanishes, making me think I'd imagined it. Suddenly, my phone vibrates again. I peer at the new message on the screen. It says, "GET UP AND WALK OUT. NOW." Struck with a sudden urgency, I rise to my feet slowly, careful not to startle Riley. He cocks his head, and suddenly his gaze turns predatory. "Leaving already? You haven't even finished your drink," he tells me. My instincts are screaming at me now. Riley is another brand of monster. I can feel it.

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Fallen World

Fallen World

Jacob immediately got up and pointed his gun at the monster. "Dor! Dor! Dor!" Jacob immediately fired his M16 gun at the scary monster. But the monster was moving very fast. She managed to dodge Jacob's shot and escape by climbing to the second floor of the building. "Oh shit!" Jacob cursed. He immediately ran towards the second floor to chase after the monster. Twenty minutes had already been spent by Jacob to finish this game. Brandishing his gun, Jacob walked down the second floor of the building. The voice of the monster could be heard clearly in the building. Jacob, who was already looking exhausted, kept trying to hunt the monster and suddenly the monster passed in front of Jacob.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

"Good. Now, eat. You look fragile, and I prefer my prizes to be strong enough to hold their weight." As I walked toward the dining hall, I realized the "Monster" wasn't just paying for Leo's life. He was rebuilding mine into something he could control. I was Chapter 10 of a story I didn't want to be in, and the ending felt further away than ever.

To Become The Monster

To Become The Monster

Her eyes meet mine one last time, and there is something unspoken there—something heavy with expectation. “You chose to become the monster,” she says quietly. “Now learn what it means to wield it.” And just like that, the path forward is no longer theoretical. It has a destination. And a name. The Butcher. And somewhere deep inside me, something ancient and unfamiliar stirs—like it’s been waiting for this war far longer than I have. We pack in quiet motion. Mae moves through Ilythra’s home like she’s afraid of touching things too hard, like the walls might whisper secrets if she brushes them wrong. I’m stuffing clothes into my bag—things that already feel like remnants of another life—when I

play me, Mr Play boy

Every person who had underestimated me. I smiled, a cold, dangerous smile. They won’t see me coming. And then my phone buzzed, an unknown number. “Tonight, the first move begins,” a text read. I looked up, heart racing. The city lights outside reflected in my window, painting streaks of red and gold. Adrian was right. This was war. And I was already in it. The thought made my pulse race, fear, excitement, and something else I didn’t dare name. I was no longer just Nora Vaughn, the obedient daughter. I was a player. And Adrian Cole… he was both my ally and my storm.

PLAY WITH ME

PLAY WITH ME

Touch… Chloe gave a shake of her head in an effort to clear her mind of the foggy haze that seemed to be encompassing her. "I don't know what game you are playing, Timothy, but—" she began "I never play games, honey... Not anymore" he assured her softly. She didn't know what to think about him calling her honey, but for the moment Chloe was too concerned by the threat he represented to her, to her equilibrium, to bother asking him about it. "You are playing one right now. And it isn't funny." she reproved. "Please don't say things like that if...please just don't"

He nodded then continued on eating the food that I had brought while I just remained to stare at him. “I heard you went out with your mother today, did you go with the enchanted them I told you about?” Tobi asked. I nodded. “Yeah, it’s funny actually,” I said. His forehead creased at me. “What’s funny?” Tobi asked, confused. I chuckled. “It’s because I was actually thinking about the enchanted theme and personally I wanted to have that theme but I needed your response first and thank god, you choose the enchanted theme too.” I further explained.

Carrying a Monster

Carrying a Monster

"I've been sleeping with the Alpha for a while now, and I just found out I'm pregnant. But his Luna is knocked up too, and she's months ahead of me. I hate the idea of him having a pup with someone else. I want to carry his firstborn. How can I make him force his mate to get rid of it?" The comments section was flooded with curses and insults calling the poster a home-wrecker. But the original poster had liked one particularly vicious comment. "That's easy. Tell the Alpha that his Luna is too weak and that she is carrying an abomination corrupted by wolfsbane. Tell him it will be a stillborn anyway." I usually just lurked in these threads, but my wolf, Selene, growled within me. My fingers f

Then Black charcoal says “Its up to you, Orange Fire to chose the remaining monsters for the five spots that still need filling.” Slowly Orange Fire walks to the front, and stands beside Black Charcoal. “Thank you.” He says, “Okay I would like to take Pinky.” Who is a shiny Pink monster that is quite new? “Pixar.” is a very well trained monster. “Lannister.” is a blood red monster that had recently been killed and come back because they used the wrong weapon. “Fries.” A monster who sort of looks like a French fry steps forward too meet the other monsters “and clips.” Clips is a new monster and is one of the largest monster I have, he also has massive claws. Horror Game? Looks Cute

Horror Game? Looks Cute

Kael and Mara. So the whole time, they'd been playing nice—pretending to be the good guys, earning everyone's trust. But visiting monsters wasn't the only way to get visit cards. Most players didn't have what I had—gear that scared monsters off, hints from the newspapers, or the nerve to talk to the ones that looked like nightmares. So Kael and Mara came up with another method—No monster fights. No risks. Just straight-up robbery. To them, we were walking wallets.
