Concubine Ranks Novels & Stories

I guessed she had hung up the phone because he just stared at the screen. He was silent for a while; then he faced Maryam, "why is your family being wicked? My daughter cannot be a concubine." He said angrily. "Actually, that is exactly what she is. Second wives are regarded as concubines; if there is a third, the third would be regarded as a mistress. You can only have a second wife as a commoner, but Royals only have one wife, and that is the first. Unless Adam divorces his current wife, Laila will be regarded as a concubine. She cannot be queen. Her son can only be king if the first wife is unable to bear a son. It is our law. I thought you knew."

My eyes, held an appreciating look. “Thank you.” I said. “Thank you, Caspian.” His hands wrapped around mine, firmly bringing it up to his chin. Warmth from him mouth fanned my hands as he kissed it softly. I couldn’t believe he was on the bed with me. “Be my concubine, Ava.” My eyes widened at his words. I withdrew my hands from his, looking at him alarmingly. “W-what do you mean?” “All this, could have been avoided if you had power. A concubine is higher than these ranks. With it, you’d be safe, Ava.”

She thought that Shaina and Clara could be Maxwell's concubines. That was an interesting thought for her. Maybe that's how she should look at it. The wife has priority and a legal relationship, while the concubines serve the husband. Well, she thought, service is not the right word. They would provide solace and comfort. But then, maybe that is all a bunch of shit. She didn't know for sure, but she did know that she was very happy with the way things have turned out so far. Breakfast was almost ready. She set the pans off the burners, and walked back to the bedroom to see if they were done yet.

The ranks among concubines ranged from the royal assistants, the lowest echelon of the hierarchy, to the top of the pyramid occupied by the empress. Among these ranks were also the imperial concubines, higher up the secondary wives of the third and second category. Ezra was only a low-level concubine, and no enmities with the other wives and concubines could be allowed. The hatred of a concubine could trigger the most terrible acts. And she did not want to be a victim of them. The girl toured the small palace that had been assigned to her and although at first, she thought it was simply not habitable, when she saw the other cameras in perfect condition, she could say that it was only lack of

Half an hour later, I see Nahan come out of his room in an impeccable suit and I follow him, without him seeing me. I go down to the kitchen and Thurayya greets me, with three other maids. Thurayya introduces me Nair, a lady in her 40s, Fatimah, older than Nair, skinny and smiling, and finally Jasmine, chubby, silent and as young as I am. Thurayya informs me that as long as Nahan does not find the right person to accompany me, she will keep me company wherever I want to go. I have lunch in the kitchen with Thurayya, displeasing her.

CHAPTER 12 Anastasia’s POV I was in the tailor shop with my maids Estella and Jessica. I was getting my measurements done and now Jessica was updating me about the concubines in the house. “There is a ranking Miss and it is according to their strengths”, Jessica said and looked towards her sister who nodded in affirmation so she continued of course. “Ranking? Strengths?”, I asked, already overly interested now. “Yes and there are three types, we have the gold ranking and these are the strongest and I have to tell you Miss Violet you saw today is of gold ranking and that was why we persuaded you so much to let it go”, Jessica explained as realization began to hit me.

The members of the Quinton family could hardly believe what they had just heard. How could this be possible? They prided themselves on their scholarly reputation and strict adherence to decorum. It was unthinkable that anyone in their family would keep a mistress. Even the number of concubines in their household was limited, and the hierarchy between wife and concubines was well-defined. A concubine was essentially the property of the primary wife—managed by her and could only attend to her husband according to the schedule she arranged. That rule had been followed for a long time and was as strict as national laws for the Quinton family.

Soka replied, "that was before she became a king server and started acting like she is bigger than me. I don't know when she will get the hint; she has been serving the king for 2 years now, and he has not looked at her, just as he doesn't look at any woman. Still, she strongly believes she will become a concubine. I almost pity her deillusions" I truly cannot understand why anyone would want to become anyone's concubine, not even the King's. The status of a concubine seems like "ladies of pleasure" to me. Certain kings have had over 50 concubines who are all disregarded. Concubines have no real status in society. As a king's concubine, you get certain palace privileges, and there have been

“Hm…well, I suppose slave is the wrong word. Back then they didn’t have slaves, exactly. They were more like captives. Yeah, I suppose that’s what she was. A captive. She should have died or become someone’s bloodbag, but instead Kronos lifted her to his harem and made her a concubine. No one really knows what she did to make him so obsessed with her, but it must’ve been effective.” “A concubine?” I asked. “I…don’t know that word.” “They’re like pets…in a way. But not like us. Concubines aren’t slaves. They’re of much greater importance. It was said that Koronos’ concubine had her own maids, her own chambers, and even some personal guards.” “Surely, you aren’t telling me he…loved her?” I ask

concubines and children Stop fucking non-stop and drop them like gnawed bone, you won't have any more priestesses from the temples of Zarathanis to betray them because they've been rejected, so you won't have enemies. The distinction between legitimate and official wives and concubines is sometimes difficult to establish, with Darkness spies identifying five or six wives, or "nine wives or concubines, other less relevant and less durable loves, a multitude of bastards, his daughters' licentiousness on various planets throughout other colonies and galaxies of the galactic alliance, which he seems to have loved as well.
