The Kissing Booth

The Kissing Booth

I kept wondering what exactly is there to confess about when I did nothing I told them exactly how it happened and how I found myself there, they still choose not to believe me The only thing on their mind was that I'm the culprit and nothing else They just need me to say I did it to close the case I wondered how they just decided to conclude without any investigation It was not like they found any tool or weapon with me that justifies their point, why then did they decide not to investigate further at all and conclude I am the one? Is it not the job of the police to investigate? What the hell are they doing and why are they forcing me to confess what I know nothing about So many thoughts go

The Last Confessor

The Last Confessor

The confessor was not all that nice, as she made him kill his parents. He had no control of himself and didn't know what he was doing. But finally, the spell was broken and he coming back to his senses, he realized all that he's done and lost. He realized how he'd been in bondage for years, and even killed his own parents. It broke him. He mourned for months, trying to get over it, but couldn't. The confessors had fled and went into hiding, but unfortunately, their hideout was discovered - somehow- and they were ambushed.

Graveyard Confessions

Graveyard Confessions

I had four days left before the poison consumed my organs entirely. All I wanted was to spend whatever time I had left with the woman I loved, but I could not reach her. The next day, I learned that Enzo Marchetti, the first love she had never forgotten, had returned from overseas. "Let's get divorced. The love of my life is back." I clutched my chest as a searing pain tore through it. "I'm at the family hospital. I've been poisoned. The doctors won't let me leave.” Her voice turned sharp and cruel. "I don't care if you're poisoned or dying. Even if you drop dead the next second, you need to come back and sign the papers." The last trace of warmth inside me went cold. I answered calmly,

CONFESS TO ME: For God Until Him

CONFESS TO ME: For God Until Him

This was a career-ending sermon. Confessions were just as bad. As a priest, I obviously could not judge them, but it was quite something. “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I lusted after my neighbor’s wife with desire in my heart,” the man confessed. I nodded sagely, trying to focus. “And how many times—” “But she looks just like that dangerous-hot looking Norwegian ex I had. Her ass is round and perfect and…” I coughed to get him back in order.

Confession of My Untamed Best Friend

Confession of My Untamed Best Friend

(Jessamine’s POV) “Him?” I scoffed in disbelief, slowly shaking my head. “Stop bluffing, James.” A brief scornful laugh escaped my mouth, shaking my head and snorting. James must be lying. He must have known about Kyle and wanted to flee from his responsibilities. I wanted to scream at him that it was not my intention, so he should stop making up stories about my best friend. How can it happen when Aiden is not Adam? He is a look-alike… or, just like my joke, Aiden was Adam’s doppelganger.

I was exhausted to even think. ***** James I had given up and refused to talk again. They were adamant in me being a criminal that I was questioning all their cases. How many people did they put away that might have been innocent? “Enough James,” Shapiro groaned looking at me, “Just confess to the murder. You killed Jayce Monde.” I stared at him. “Confessed yet?” Ridley walked in holding a file. “Nope.” Shapiro rubbed his eyes, “He is refusing to talk now.” “Okay,” Ridley slid the file in front of me, “This is a list of all of your crimes. Let’s see,” he leaned forward, “Theft, vanda-”

Heartbreak And Wars

Heartbreak And Wars

"Especially because of that. If I lose faith completely, Morrison wins." Back home, James wanted to play superheroes. I chased him around our apartment, my ankle monitor beeping warning when I got too close to the door proximity alert reminding me not to leave without disarming the system first. "Daddy, you're slowing down," James complained. "Daddy's getting old, buddy." "You're not old. You just have the special bracelet weighing you down." Out of the mouths of children. That evening, Margaret came over with the prosecutor's discovery file—thousands of pages of documents, emails, evidence they planned to use against me. The volunteer forensic examiners needed access to analyze Morrison's a

Jaxon didn't turn to me, but he laced his fingers with one of my hands and squeezed gently. I tuned back into the recording to hear Mochiatto threaten to blow up our publishing business, or set it on fire-it wasn't really clear, but I knew whatever he was planning wasn't good. The voice recorder clicked, and the room fell silent as the recording ended, each of us seemingly lost in our own thoughts. "Well, I'll be damned," James commented, breaking the silence that blanketed the room. "I can't believe that dumb son of a bitch just confessed to you."

Tempted by My Brother's Best Friend (Age Gap Romance)

Tempted by My Brother's Best Friend (Age Gap Romance)

I started sobbing when they threatened to call my parents and school—I was still in uniform. There was tightness in my stomach, a painful numbness in my chest. I couldn’t stop him. I wanted to dig a hole for myself and never get out of it. I hated that I couldn’t stop him. Hated myself for ever leaving him alone in that bedroom after he had confessed everything to me. James must have felt guilty for all these years and instead of helping him, consoling him, I added fuel to that guilt-fire by leaving him. I was staring numbly at the crowd of people when someone cleared their throat.

Raquel Troncoso Williams
This book was amazing as Ivy & Aiden, but then it went to another story that had nothing to do with the title of the book & it was super hard to read. It was like someone else was writing. I’m giving it 5 stars for Ivy & Aiden but Mia & Emma were terrible. Write more about Ivy & Aiden.
007Girl
Took me a while to read the section where the body guard, Cillian, and Emma had sex in front of an audience, but the plot itself on all 3 books was amazing. An audience is just not my cup of tea. But for others who like it, I'm guessing it's perfect for them.

Devourer of Souls

Devourer of Souls

Like those iron filings we all seem to attract, he started writing stories about the things that happen in this town when no one’s looking; the things that lurk in the dark corners everyone else would rather ignore. Do these stories really happen? There’s no way of knowing. Initially this uncertainty tormented him. He didn’t sleep well for a long while. However, publishing some of them in Things Slip Through has given him a measure of peace. Helped him embrace his . . . calling, if you will, just like we have. I grapple with cases that can’t be solved. Father Ward hears the strangest confessions, though he can’t share the specifics about most of them. Fitzy—even though he works in Utica—trea
