I doubt I'll be going to sleep any time soon anyway, there's too much on my mind. King finally emerges from upstairs into the living room, dressed in a black t-shirt that clings too tightly to his muscular frame and a pair of loose, grey sweatpants. His steps are nearly silent on the wooden floor as he makes his way to the kitchen. I hear a cabinet open and the soft clinking of glasses. Moments later, he reappears with two glasses filled with dark, amber liquid.

Her startled gesture made him smile. Keanna hadn’t realized her robe came undone as there were many eyes in the room. The guards and attendants accompanied the King wherever he went, even when he was with his concubines, to say she was uncomfortable was an understatement. The room was completely dark save for the light given by the moon. Her black hair shone in the moonlight, looking like woven silk, her clear blue eyes peeked through her long lashes. He continued to stroke her cheek. “You truly are beautiful. Why haven’t I seen you?”

A small but determined force of several hundred loyalists guarded the approaches. Lucien raised a hand, halting the column. He addressed the gathered warriors from Blackpine, Ironfang, and the other packs that had joined them along the ride. “We have reached the heart of the shadow. Alfred never let him down where food was concerned. “Don. With anger, Alexander face becomes red like hot chilli. he then said " It's not about wife or mistress its about my choice . Idon't want to be with anyone that't it.

the king said as he knelt before the elderly man and kissed his hand. “I know why you are here, my king,” he said. The king’s eyes brightened. “My lord, you never cease to amaze me.” The oracle nodded his head. Looking at the blue bird with purple chrome wings in a golden cage, he said, “The one you looking for is your son, Prince Licht of mistress Helga.” The king frowned. He never met his son, but he knew of him. Licht was one of his bastard children. His mother Helga was a remarkable woman, but she had her flaws and that is why she wasn’t by his side.

“Take them straight to the Moonlight Pack, they should be locked up in the dungeon!” The King's Beta ordered, his voice hot as he paced back and forth. It was a good thing that the rogues that attacked them were captured, he couldn't wait for the King to make the quick recovery doctor Jackson had promised so he'd deal with them severely.

King Lucian smirked knowingly, hoping to get the response he wanted from me.
