Alpha Ciandra, The Vengeful Outcast

Alpha Ciandra, The Vengeful Outcast

Knowing well its repercussions, it had shown up and that was why and how the witches had helped Alpha Ciandra. The owl was known by the witches to be something formidable. To make it even scarier, no one knew the owner of the owl. To Alicia and Felicia, Kelly was the owner. The way she came to own it was peculiar but they had understood. It was unheard of for an owl to communicate with wolves. If only the owl would have been able to communicate with Felicia and Alicia since they were witches and not Kelly. “I hope the owl isn’t following Ciandra,” Alicia whispered.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Wolfgang parried. “You missed,” the owl said. “Did I?” “Yes. You did. It didn’t even touch me.” “I wasn’t aiming for you.” He heard a crack behind him. He knew that sound, the sound of cut bamboo. “This isn’t going to end well,” the owl said. “I’m gonna have such a headache tomorrow.” Poles and poles of bamboo fell on his head. His eyes were spinning. He could see small owls that were flying and singing around his head. The biggest one in the group was laughing in his face.

"Or you briefly forgot that owls are nocturnal and" "It was a trick question," he repeated, standing up and putting his journal back onto the shelf between two others. "I'd never forget that owls are nocturnal." He looked at me over his shoulder and we both laughed. "Right." "Hey," he said, raising an eyebrow. "You want to come with me to work on my map?" "Really? You'd want me to?" "Why wouldn't I? You know the forest really well. Plus, it could clear your mind about the whole Celia thing."

MAD END'S DECEPTION

MAD END'S DECEPTION

“Hey, it’s you. It’s been a while, huh?” The owl tilted its head slowly to the left, then the right, in that eerie, weightless way owls do. She narrowed her eyes, suddenly suspicious. “Wait... are you magical too?” After everything she’d learned, nothing felt impossible anymore. She made a mental note to ask Gildeon about it once he was awake. There had always been something a little unnatural about the owl—not to mention the way it always seemed to be watching her too. A sudden low growl rumbled from the dog house at the far end of the porch.

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

The two fell into silence, drinking juice while staring into space in thought. … It was evening by the time Kaizo left. He had stayed for several hours, catching up with his old friend. Once he was gone, Professor Dewsbury stayed in her office for a little longer. At 8pm, an owl appeared behind her window, tapping it gently with its wings to catch her attention. An owl in itself was uncommon, but this one was even more so. It had pieces of flesh missing on some parts of its body, and one of its wings was entirely made up of bones.

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

When I looked up, I saw two bright yellow eyes staring at me intently. “Ole, good to see you.” Thank God his cup was full. “I see Owen pleased you tonight." The brew smelled bad, and I had no desire to refill it. Owen was brewing some sort of rodent tea for clients like Ole, the were-owls. "Do you need anything else?" He looked down at his cup for a moment, and then his large, unblinking eyes met mine again. "No." I knocked on the counter and smiled. "We had a great chat."

Jamal’s POV The message from the owl arrived under the cloak of night, a messenger of the unseen realms. Its white feathers glowed in the moonlight, and in its beak, it carried a small vial—a vessel containing an otherworldly concoction. The air crackled with arcane energy as the owl descended, talons gripping the edge of my windowsill.

Under Her Spell: Saving The Alpha

Under Her Spell: Saving The Alpha

“Whatever’s gone on between the witches and werewolves of New York is none of my fucking business. What’s important now is how to stop The Owl.” “Let’s say we believe you,” I said. “What the hell is The Owl?” “Not what,” she said. “Who.” “The Owl is a person?” I asked. “Yeah. A warlock. A very, very powerful warlock.” “And how do you know all this?” Nathan asked. “Because…” she said, looking away, “I got the vision of everything.” Her voice trembled, and I heard the fear in it. I didn’t want to buy into whatever she was saying, but deep down, I already believed her. She was telling the truth.

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

Who would see a damn bird that has glowing eyes? Arth furrowed his brows in wonder. It was no regular owl, he knew. He could sense some magical energy on the bird—it was being controlled. Why the hell would someone spy and peek at him sleeping? Unless… Arth swallowed the lump on his throat, as the wide, glowing eyes of the owl stared at him. Chills ran down through his body. He slowly picked up his Blackwinter beside him at the bed and stood up. A sudden…but faint sound occurred from the other room; a grunt of a guy… then a body dropping on the carpeted floor.

Conflicted

Conflicted

I have no idea whether it was the flight or the large crowd of males all around me, but I am seconds from losing my cool. "You know if you can't handle this, we should leave," Kraven whispers yells as he watches my shoulders shift slightly. I take a few deep breathes while letting my eyes scan the room. The antsy uncomfortable feeling is definitely coming from this room. My wolf instincts are peaked to their max. "Bring me a laced drink. It will knock my body back into my control," I growl, and Kraven nods before barreling through the crowd. I close my eyes and focus on my sense of hearing. One hundred and two heartbeats are pounding all around me. The wolve's hearts range in tempo due to th

I was worried I was not going to like the book and while a lot of the beginning was cringy lol, I pushed through and glad I did! It was a captivating read even with the auctions and shitty people but as the story progressed, I couldn't put the book down! I'd happily read more of the authors stories.
Mona
Soo good! I fell in love with the characters and couldn't put it down! <3 I loved the way the characters had evolved from the first time you meet them to the end. Also, one of the characters, her name is Hilda, reminded me so much of Aveline from Dragon Age 2. *cough*Hilda needs her own book*cough*
