My mind was now a troubled storm of many uneasy questions. The journal now laid open on my oak wooden desk, its pages yellowed with age and fragile, but the words within were anything but soothing to my eyes. I'd spent a great deal of minutes that now felt like years sifting through its cryptic sentences, every inked word seemed to mock the very essence of my sense of reasoning and belief.
