Mine

Mine

As Simon drove further away from the lively parts of California, Kimberly couldn’t help but feel nervous; this was her first time going on such an adventurous trip, so she couldn’t help but worry because she had no idea what to expect. “Hey, are you okay?” Ian quietly asked, giving her hand a light squeeze. “yeah.” She replied, forcing a smile. The silence was short-lived by noises coming from the back. Leo and his girlfriend Amber were having a heated make out session at the back of the van, not caring about the rest.

LOUIS

LOUIS

Nodding in relief, Aiden went out closing the door behind him, leaving us alone in the bathroom. “What the fuck, Louis?” She snapped annoyed but without losing her smile since Milena looked at us alternately, "Can you calm down a bit?" “Are you crazy? How can you be so calm listening and seeing the state the children lived?” I blurted out smiling as well when the girl looked at me before Eva put her in the water and automatically let out a squeak of pain that lasted a few seconds before focusing on the little plastic frog floating before her. "Oh, God... see? That's what I mean! That son of a bitch was unable to buy diapers for a poor baby and now she suffers the consequences of her greed.”

We moved from isle to isle grabbing what we needed, or what Cassi believed that we needed. "What are going to do with this?" I asked lifting the tub of ice cream. "I'm going to eat it," "Cassi you don't even eat chocolate," "I do sometimes," she defended putting it inside of the cart. "Yeah then you go for my vanilla," I replied amused "I'll eat it this time," she said walking off and I shook my head returning it to the cart watching as she scanned through the shelves for more chocolate treats she was not going to eat. "Excuse me," a voice called out and I followed it to be treated by a woman who looked to be in her 30's.

"So are you enjoying the sights?" a voice asks beside me making me jump "Calm down," he said as I spin to grab his throat and he knocks my hand away "How did you do that?" "Ahhh I can mask my scent, it's a talent I've had since I was a child, it helps me move around freely, I'm who everyone calls the boss but my name is Gregory"

I calmly cooed, taking a step toward her. She looked indecisive, narrowing her eyes in on me, and furrowing her brows in the process, "Who are you?" She murmured, "What are you?" Her voice was clearer as she asked those questions and I couldn't help but stare at her wide-eyed. It was such an odd question that I didn't expect from her. "What do you mean?" I asked, feigning unsureness, "My name is Zion Collins and although I said that I'm from Pluto, Angel face, I lied. I'm actually human."

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

“Are you trying to say that the team you have won't be able to maintain this steam.” My wolf growled inside. She knew what she was doing manipulating and twisting my statement. “I suggest you get your head in the game, miss Shania. I'd hate to be misunderstood,” “Apologies, can you repeat yourself for others to understand, coz your reason for this… joint concept isn't really hitting hard,” The members murmured among themselves, splitting the room into an unequal spat of differences, and Shania chuckled silently at the sight of it. “One house, murmuring amongst ourselves won't solve this,” I beckoned, causing the room to sit still.
