Dragon starts rolling up his sleeves, revealing faded Calavera tattoos, “Chain’s fine. Got a tension tool in my box. I’ll fix it antes de que (before) sundown.” Poking at the rusted exhaust, “Pfft. Tool ain’t magic, kid. And this exhaust? Sounds like a dying chupacabra.” Dru stifles a laugh. I shoot her a glare, but I'm trying to hide my own smirk with my beard. Dragon shakes his head, then glances up towards Dru on the porch, “¿En serio (Seriously) You think I’d let her hurt? I seen what happens when you don’t guard your crew.” Dragon rolls up his sleeve further, revealing a tattooed date—“2003–2019”—inked beneath the Calavera’s hollow eyes. The numbers curl like smoke from a prayer candle,

Kaylani lifts up onto her back legs, screaming before slamming down and sending water spouts toward Tarathiel. I see Tesha fighting with Rhistel and I race underneath Kaylani, slicing through the rope that he had attached to her leg. I feel the wind at my back, and it blows me off my feet, but Kaylani catches me with her tail, and I grab hold while she moves her tail over her back, letting me drop down on top of her. Once I’m off the ground, my dragon releases anger like I’ve never seen before. She begins flooding the area, the water rising quickly.

Shawna and Tavie’s eyes grew wide at the big beautiful…. “DRADON!” Shawna yelled as she watched his golden dragon fly through the air letting out a loud screeching sound. The kids were on his back, as he flew through the air. He dipped low to the ground, allowing the kids to hop off his back and ran for cover far away from the danger. Dradon’s dragon flew towards the Leviathan, drew in a deep breath, blew fire at him, then used his claws to swipe across one of the Leviathan’s faces, then flew straight up into the sky. The Leviathan screeched and took flight chasing Dradon.

Wynter giggled. We ate breakfast and Wynter seemed like himself. Echo slept a lot and Abeloth said that’s what baby dragons needed to do, they grew when they slept. I had called the Elders of Florida to inform them that Wynter had merged with his dragon and they outright laughed at me.

I grunted. "It is strange you didn't tell me you are not a trouble! I can clearly see where your priorities lie," the dragon chuckled, his voice low and dangerously addictive. I didn't need these kind of temptations right now, or distractions, when I was trying to steal the prince's damn crown before his coronation.

“We have not seen them in many days. Surely they were able to assist in defending the Citadel.” Sir Andric shook his head. “The few messages I have received tell of great, flying creatures aiding the Dark Magic users. The report from the Citadel says that Ghaeron engaged the beasts, but was ultimately forced to flee. There was no sign of Nayara, Majesties.” Emerik was pale with disbelief. “A Dragon forced to flee? That is . . . incomprehensible!” He eyed Andric. “You are sure these reports are accurate, Sir Andric? From where did they come?”

No one would believe her story of magic, a dragon, and two men who were beyond comprehension. “Sophia!” she heard Caiden’s voice calling out to her. She looked on and saw Caiden, Jennifer and Zac running towards her. “Guys, what are you—” She heard it before she actually heard Jennifer shout. “DRAGONS!” The roar followed and it bursts through the huge trees, knocking down huge trunks not even the earth magic could take down. A large dragon appeared before them. The three hid behind her back. "What should we do?" Jennifer managed to huff as she was catching her breath.

He looked into the rearview mirror, watching them turn into the packhouse’s driveway. “What’s wrong?” Candy asked as she leaned forward. “Those were dragons.” “Oh, a flock of them live on the border of our lands.” Candy said with a shrug, “They must have been going to see Drake.” Stolas nodded his head as he shifted gears, he didn’t want to tell her that he had felt something else in the car. Something familiar. “It’s probably nothing,” Annie said, leaning over and giving his thigh a squeeze as Candy glanced back towards the pack house. Annie glanced back at Candy, “We can go back.”

Filled with fire and volcanos as far as the eye could see. Until one day, when in every corner of the world, a blood-freezing howl was heard. Melanie goes to open her mouth, and Kat tells her to shut it and drags her away. “We get back to the table and everyone is leaving. Ayesha is about to shift. Time to head out.” Poseidon announces. We all start heading back home. We’re halfway there when a huge white dragon flies overhead, followed by a blood red dragon. Lucy shifts and follows them, and Poseidon stays with us. “Drinking and flying is not for me.” He jokes. We wait for the dragons to get back. Theo has us drinking coffee. Lucy is sneaking a coffee liqueur into my coffee when Theo’s not looking. Lucy is so much fun. I think I’ll keep her.
