My eyes flickered over to Charlotte as she tossed her ebony hair over her shoulders. Her dragon was just as strong as she was stubborn, I was glad that she was a member of the flock. She looked at me as she pushed her bangs away from her forehead, before her green eyes scanned the area. Kingston, her partner, moved closer to Louis. The young dragon was good at sensing other's emotions. “Thank you for flying with me, whatever happens tonight. I will return.” I said, the small group was quiet as I spoke before Louis nodded. They needed to know that there was a chance that I may not be returning with them, I hoped my plan would work.

' Adrian felt like a fool. "You are freezing." His voice was quieter and softer. "I never said I was, leave me alone!" She said stubbornly, while trying to hide the tremor on her body. ' Even now she's still stubborn. What is she? A Dragon?' Adrian regarded her silently. He had met a few sentient dragons on Zaralis and their temper were similar to Estelle's. ( Zaralis is a continent mostly populated by dragons and several other dangerous reptiles like leviathans, basilisks etc.)

Finn replied, his mischievous grin belying the direness of their situation . As the dragon advanced, Amelia charged forward, her blade singing through the air as she aimed for the creature's underbelly. Gabriel leaped alongside her, his fangs bared and claws extended in a display of predatory grace. Lucas darted in and out, his movements swift and precise as he searched for weaknesses in the dragon's armor. "Amelia, watch out!" Gabriel shouted as the beast swiped at her with a clawed limb. She rolled out of harm's way, narrowly avoiding a deadly blow.

“That’s just a sound of happiness. He’s happy to see me and Laiken.” “Can you make those sounds, my dragon?” Nylion asks Laiken. Laiken takes the opportunity to click and clack his own excitement back to Elio. “You’ve never made those sounds before,” he says excitedly. Nylion obviously enjoys Laiken more than Merellien enjoys me. For Merellien, I’m a tool, a weapon and a sex toy. Laiken is a weapon too, but Nylion at least seems to appreciate dragons. His demeanor was stoic, his body rigid, yet his hands betrayed a sense of calm. Breaking the tension, he suggested, "If we've got nothing left to do, I think it'd be best if we should leave now," turning away to stride down the trail.

Stopping up in front, Zor and another Dragon gazed out at the woods. Looking up at them I watched as their eyes as they seemed to become brighter in colour, as the feeling of energy moved through me.

Sergeant Miller dragged a militia member with a corroded wound backward. I took a deep breath. We could not retreat. I took off my jacket and stood bare-chested on the highest point of the reef. At that moment, I pushed the Dragon Lord talent to its limit. Golden light surged from my chest and spread through my blood vessels across my body. Faint scale patterns appeared on my skin, and my eyes turned into vertical pupils. Half-dragon form, unlocked ahead of schedule. "Break." Golden pressure swept outward from me like a tangible storm.

Many more of these ‘fairies’ were walking around in a marketplace, unaware of our appearance. The dragon was quiet and stealthy for the sheer size. Surely it was because he was the perfect predator.
