Hypno Halloween

Hypno Halloween

Jake turned and dashed towards the column closest to him, with the monster taking one huge leap and flew over him before landing in front of him. He resorted to throwing books at the monster by grabbing a big dictionary and hurling it-like that would work! The monster ripped the book into shreds and squealed before charging. Jake had a close call when the monster got him by the shoulders after leaping towards him, tearing his sweater and almost getting his skin. He jabbed the monster with the mystical book, sending it falling over to the other side behind him and Jake also fell. The monster was squealing way louder this time and it looked like the book had actually hurt it.

Married to my ex-husband's boss

Married to my ex-husband's boss

“Aunt Elle! Look! We decorated everything ourselves!” The table was covered with confetti, flowers, and slightly crooked candles. Mica pulled me down to sit beside her. “Mommy, try the cookies I made with Aunty Rosetta! I put the sprinkles. A lot of sprinkles!” The cookie in front of me had enough sprinkles to build a small rainbow mountain. I bit into it. It was sweet, crunchy, and perfect—because it was hers. I smiled widely at her. “This is the best cookie I’ve ever had.”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Running across the sand. Fair. With Adrian's shoe in his mouth. Reasonable. Proudly. God. Very proudly. Fair. Like he'd hunted it himself. Reasonable honestly. Then the chase began. God. Cookie ran. Fair. Adrian ran. Reasonable. Peanut ran. God. Then everybody else ran too. Fair. The entire beach. Reasonable honestly. Then Cookie turned it into a game. God. The worst possible outcome. Fair. Because puppies love games. Reasonable.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Divorced: Dear Ex It's Your Loss

Divorced: Dear Ex It's Your Loss

"But his mom, the lioness, was very smart. So one day, she put a cookie at the edge of the cave and said, 'Whoever comes out gets the magical cookie of bravery!'" Jace giggled now. "Did the lion come out?" I nodded. "He came out roaring, grabbed the cookie, and went to school with so much courage that he became king of the classroom!" Jace laughed harder, his eyes lighting up. "Was the cookie real magic?" "Only if you believe in cookies with superpowers," I said, winking at him through the mirror. When we got to the school, I parked and stepped out, helping him with his bag.

Dear Don

Dear Don

Sighing in relief when the bribe worked, Dawn watched as the mermaid reached for the soggy cookie and crammed it into her mouth with a big smile. Well, that removed one of his worries. Mystical creature or not, this half-fish was only as smart as a rock. Only dogs and children could be bribed with an Oreo cookie. This mermaid was clearly not very smart if she was over the moon with a soggy biscuit. Besides, he still had his hand on her. “More!” Aqua demanded after swallowing the first cookie. She was so hungry after a long night. One cookie wasn’t enough. Dawn thought about it. He could give her the rest of the snacks. However, he needed answers.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

I’d have gladly walked into its yawning gullet at that moment. “It’s a very interesting book, Doon,” continued Maurice. “It’s the story of Muad’Dib, the mouse that hides from the sun and travels in the cool night.” “Sounds a bit boring,” said Flossie. “Do you think we could delay this week’s Book Club until we get out of this mess?” I requested in my most reasonable voice. Stay calm, wait for first light, and then make our way back to the lake, possibly to drown myself and get it all over with. “Just keep quiet and don’t make any sudden movements.”

Devil’s Saints: Taz

Devil’s Saints: Taz

Eustace was the cousin who was turned into a dragon due to his greed in the third book of the Narnia series, Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The mess that Mitchell made had been cleaned up within days. The damage he had caused was repaired. While they worked at her house, Shiloh stayed with her grandfather and cousin. Shiloh paid Cookie and his crew a premium rate to get it done quickly. They also installed a safe room in both the basement, and in the living quarters. The stores were busy after pictures were posted in the local paper and on social media. Shiloh refused to answer questions and forbid her employees from gossiping about Gertie. It did not take long for the interest to die down.

No More Sweet Sugar Baby For You Daddy

No More Sweet Sugar Baby For You Daddy

He will discover the consequences of truth when loyalty and friendship are absent. “How many cookies did you eat?” Josy asked. She hadn’t paid attention to how the cookies. That’s why she asked now. “A bite. They didn’t taste right. They weren’t sweet. You know those weird savory cookies. I don’t like them. A cracker should be savory; a cookie, sweet. Cookies had a subtle horseradish flavor. It was disgusting. I couldn’t stand it. So, I didn’t get past a bite.” The memory of that gross bite made me grimace.

she protested. “No, it’s… it’s fine. “ Killian was trying not to laugh. “What else do you want to see in the zoo? “Mike is so grumpy all the time. “ she commented, then went on. “I want to see the lion and the tigers. “ “The tigers? Do you know the story of the tigress who was a warrior and a secret princess?” “No! What is it?” Killian was telling her a story Mike was sure he had just made up. But it was so impressive for Ashley she wasn’t sure whether to focus on looking at Killian drawing or listening to the tale.

Wrong Ride, Right Lover

Wrong Ride, Right Lover

Angel stared at Monique with her cute and chubby face, along with her sparkly eyes. Monique let out a sigh as she was not in the mood and said, "Alright, only one okay?" Angel nodded as her pretty face now revealed a smile that would spellbind anyone who saw it. Monique could not help but smile as she picked up the picture book on the bed and started reading it. It was the story of 'The Wolf and The Seven Little Goats.’ Angel seemed to take a liking to this book. The last time, Henry took the initiative to read Angel a picture book. Initially, Henry was out of character when he was reading it. Later, when Monique took over, Henry took up the role of the big bad wolf.

The book was good but I really would like if the writers could stick to the initial names given to the characters and be mindful of the his/hers/she/he/they/them and so on. Otherwise great story from start to finish.

This is one of the best book I have ever read and I highly recommend this to those who are finding good book and story. There are lots of errors though when it comes to names and other stuffs but over all the story is fascinating. Just hoping that the ending is not the common ones.
