Rosita's POV I twirled the pasta around my fork, the cheesy, golden strands sticking together. Pasta carbonara, Fernando had called it. I hadn’t tasted anything properly since… since the poison. I lifted the fork to my mouth, the first bite a timid offering to my recovering senses.

He tries his best to look apologetic, “Cheesy pasta, if that’s possible.” Carlos smiles and nods, disappearing into the kitchen. A few moments later he returns with what looks like a loaded macaroni cheese, with chicken, bacon, sweetcorn, spring onions and breadcrumbs on top. It looks delicious. “That looks amazing. Thank you.” He bows his head and hands it over.

She said, "Mr. Jardin, it's not good for you to go without food all day! I found some pastinas that Ms. Jent made, which she had stored in the freezer. I thought I'd cook some up for you." "She made these?" Zach asked. Margaret nodded, "Yes. The day Rosario passed away, Ms. Jent suddenly craved pastinas. She spent the entire day preparing them but never cooked any. They've been in the freezer ever since." Margaret also wondered why Madelyn made the pastinas but did not cook them. A sharp pang of pain hit Zach's chest as he looked at Madelyn. He murmured, "Madelyn, you've forgiven me, haven't you?"

I muttered savoring the taste of the creamy pasta “It's been so long I was actually afraid that you might not like pasta anymore” “Of course I still like it, why won't I like it, this taste so damn good” I muttered “I'm glad you like it” He smiled, I tasted the fried chicken breast and the pasta and I almost lost my mind, this is so fucking good, I kept on eating and eating, and gosh he bought so much food and I cannot stop eating, my stomach was so full and still there's so much food and he barely ate anything

Because there are up to ten forms of pasta! Mozzarella pasta, cheesy pasta, risotto, lasagna, fusilli, penne, spaghetti Bolognese, mac and cheese, Alfredo, and ravioli!” “Hmm, you are right. We shouldn’t just waste it. Why don’t we share it with the street or people?”
