She asked. Damian simply nodded. He got out of the car, not letting go of Amelia's hand. Amelia followed Damian without a word. She looks at their hands that were intertwined before feeling herself blush. 'He's still holding it' she thought to herself. Both of them entered a store that seemed extravagant that only serves the top elite. A girl who was wearing a uniform with a pin on her chest that says 'manager', immediately recognizes Damian as she walks towards them. "Good morning. Welcome to our store. You must be Mr. Castillo. I'm the manager and I will be assisting you today" the girl introduced herself with a smile.

Slowly, I turned my head and came face-to-face with a who could only be described as a god in human form. Oh my God! My subconscious screeched in disbelief. God sent an angel indeed. I mean only angels can be this good looking, right? He had dark silver eyes and jet black hair which made him look divine, complementing his god-like look. Strands of his hair fell on his face. His sharp jaw seemed as if it was carved by God himself. And the silver lip ring attached to his pale pink lips was my last undoing. With eyes glued to his lips, the only thoughts that claimed my mind were;

“Come here, and I want you to meet Ry.” Then a beautiful girl walked in wearing a pink corsage dress. There was no question she was not Skip and Arella’s. She was a mix of them. Her hair, the shape of her face, and of course, those eyes. I’d talked to her over the video cam and had seen her pictures, but her being in front of me was a justification and a living proof that she truly existed. I knelt in front of her and took a closer look. Rynna felt shy all of a sudden, but able to smile at me.

“ I don’t even know how you thought that you will be able to get away from me, did I not tell you that you cannot run away before you have paid me back for everything that you have done? I haven’t even given you half of the pain that you have given to me.” Cordelia didn’t raise her head instead she continued to pick the shards on the floor and then placed them on the tray one by one, her body was crouched and Levy could see the blisters forming on her skin and with one look she could see that the woman was an omega, she didn’t have any powers nor was she a powerful female but she did have a lot of pride, she didn’t bow her head in front of Damien’s alpha vibes and went on doing her own thing

Cora shook her head as she returned her focus to us. “Right, I will get you some food, and then you both can head to your rooms to catch up on some much-needed rest.” She said. “Thank you…” Apollo paused as he tried to remember her name. “Sorry I didn’t get your name.” He said sheepishly. “That’s because I didn’t give it. The name is Cordelia." Her tone was sharper than before. "Now, I’ll be back with your food in a moment.” She said, giving him a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. I took that moment to down the tonic she gave me, it was bitter and burned my throat as it went down.

Damn. "Isabella of America." And just as she suspected, the leader not only understood English but spoke it with enough clarity that she barely picked up on any accent. We ride. Seras is waiting at the dam turnout with her bike and a fresh coat of flame decals. Chloe recognized her from previous encounters, always the poised figure who seemed perfectly attuned to Valerius's every desire. Was she merely an assistant, servant, or something else entirely? “Good evening,” Cordelia said, her voice smooth and cool. “You’re awake.”
