Fated to my Alpha nemesis

Fated to my Alpha nemesis

But my eyes keep finding their way back. The body is lodged between thick roots, as though the forest itself has claimed it. I have never seen anything like this before. Not the smell. Not the stillness. Not the horrifying reality of it. The remains look as though something attacked them. Something wild. Something vicious. Something that hadn't merely killed. Something that had torn. Several parts of the body are simply... Missing. Gone. A wave of dizziness crashes over me. My heart pounds so hard it hurts. Who did this?

I have only been reading this book for a few days so I'm not towards the end but I absolutely love this book! I find myself reading every second I can! It's got some nice twists and a great story line, I can't wait to finish and see how the story comes together!! Excellent read :)

Dear author Riel, I usually don’t read stories that are not complete, but your story came up and I started reading it without realizing it was ongoing and I got hooked on the characters and the banter throughout the story. I hope it will have a happy ending for Damon & Michaela...️

The Bride's Second Life: A Vengeful Bloom

The Bride's Second Life: A Vengeful Bloom

News of my marriage to Charlie spread quickly, and soon the entire upper circle was buzzing. Everyone was waiting for the drama to unfold. On the day of the wedding, the Quirrel and Gillan families had booked the same hotel. Both our ballrooms were located at opposite ends, separated only by the central courtyard. "Look at her. She's marrying a man on his deathbed. It's obvious she's just after his money," someone said. I turned and saw Adrian leaning heavily on a cane. His complexion was sallow, and his eyes were sunken deep into their sockets. He looked like a walking skeleton.

Revenge of the Reborn Bride

Revenge of the Reborn Bride

"Get on your knees. Apologize to Celeste. Or the wedding is off." My whole body went rigid. I met his gaze, pure hatred burning behind my eyes. "No." His temper exploded. He grabbed my collar and kicked my legs out from under me. My knees hit the hardwood with a sickening crack of pain. I tried to push myself up, but his hand closed around my throat, shoving me back down. "Apologize, or I call everything off right now!" A familiar, primal terror seized me—flashbacks of the violence from my last life crashing down.

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

The dining room looked like a mad house massacre from a horror movie. Remus slowly let go of his embrace of Vastria watching her. Her gaze was locked on the bodies scattered around the dining room. Both stood in a pool of blood; both covered in blood of demons. Vastria stared at the corpse of Eldrid saddened that she had killed him, but just like she had before, she wanted to hide the fact she was interested in death. Even though she could not see his face, she knew what it looked like, horror filled with agony as she had ripped his still beating heart out. She looked to the ripped bodies scattered, torsos of maybe ten demons. An arm laid in the sandwich tray and intestines stuck on the wall

Where Wild Things Roam

Where Wild Things Roam

Why’s this one not rotting? Vampire drained, he supplies. Looks like she’s the only one. Can you handle her while I keep clearing the path for your parents? Yeah, go. “I never thought I’d see you again,” the corpse tries to coo over dry and rasping vocal cords. A grim and twisted reflection of life, she has what were once large blue eyes and dark brown hair, cut in a style not dissimilar to Ellie’s. Shuffling towards me with a broken leg and a grotesque chunk of flesh dangling off her rib cage, she resembles nothing more than an extra from night of the living dead. A chunk of her cheek has rotted away on one side of her face, her yellowed teeth visible through it and as Sean pointed out, I s

My Boyfriend Restored My Corpse

My Boyfriend Restored My Corpse

The next morning, Orion entered the guest room where my body was. Fortunately, it was winter, so my corpse would not decay too fast. In between work, he sent me a text message. [Ask your mother to retrieve the body tomorrow morning. Be prepared to be my maid!] After that, he waited for my reply. But he never received a text message in return. He switched off his phone in slight frustration. Then, he started to work on the corpse again. I was too skinny, so he opened my mouth to stuff some cotton balls inside.

the priest said from the altar where he stood, cladded in a black tuxedo suit. “What? No, no, it can't be, no!” I murmured. It was happening, “no please no! I’m the bride! It’s me!” “Do you sir, Cormac know this lady?” the wedding celebrant asked out of the blue. “My husband doesn't——,” Ava was saying before Cormac interrupted her mid sentence. “No, I do not,” he replied coldly, staring deeply into my eyes. The once forest green eyes that were my safe haven held no emotions. They were cold like ice and blue.

Finishing the Puzzle of My Corpse

Finishing the Puzzle of My Corpse

Even I felt sick to the stomach seeing the uneven, dark red body on the autopsy table. Officer Wright's face went as white as a sheet. "What monsters! They'd better not let me catch them!" "They're worse than monsters!" Zack trembled as his tone filled with rage. "From the condition of the body, the victim likely had her bones shattered and flesh dug out when she was still alive. Not only that—her teeth, eyes, and nails were all pulled out." His words drained the color from everyone's faces, and the atmosphere turned heavy in an instant.
