It was entirely designed in shades of brown; the Caffe latte style, as I was to discover later. Shades of walnut and bronze blended with each other in such an aesthetic way that I looked about me, wide-eyed. It had been a new table, but that didn’t stop me from throwing Tate on it and breaking it.

I have never been to Ian’s place, we usually just meet up at our parents house. I got to the living room and noticed Luke on the armchair. Even the living room is like heaven. The chandelier is glittering, there are 2 armchairs, a five seater couch and a small bean bag on the side. There is a golden glass table with a flower vase in the middle of the room. There’s also a 60-inch plasma screen mounted on the wall with an artificial fireplace at the bottom. Everything screamed wealth and I just stood there gaping at everything like a fish.

The plush armchair at the far end begs to be sunk into, its cushions worn in the right way to cradle anyone perfectly. Beside it, a set of low tables is surrounded by couches, their soft upholstery inviting guests to sprawl out if they are tired of sitting upright at the other tables. The arrangement feels effortless, like it was designed for comfort, not order, encouraging you to stay as long as you like.

What added colours were the upholsteries, cushions and the wooden tables and shelves; the curtains also. The upholstery fabrics were cream leather all through, except one armchair that was made of cotton. The tables and small stools were of Rosewood and Ash wood; some of the cushions were white and others were navy blue and creamy yellow respectively. There were two of them on each couch. The curtains were navy blue atop with white chiffon underneath it, making the interior look a little vibrant, contrary to how it used to look.

It had a captivating black glass center table that had a very nice flower vase on it and the 65 inches television across the sofas matched its beauty in every bit of perfection. It had a 6-chair dining table by the side of the couch which was really exceptional, and beautiful lamps washed the window sills with accommodating flowers that swept the floors to the windows.

The overall effect was to make the room dark and unknown. Looking around further, I saw some other less obvious furniture. There was a single oversized chair with red velvet cushion and padding and a similar red velvet pillow on the floor at the chair's base. Another piece of furniture looked almost like a skinny picnic table, except the legs were canted outward rather than straight down or inward. It had similar red velvet padding on the top and down the sides. I could see where a person could be made to lay on it, face down or face up, and their legs would drape over the edge.
