At the foot of the bed sits an elegant bench upholstered in soft cream with gilded legs. To the right, against the wall, stands a vanity table made of dark mahogany, complete with an ornate mirror and a cushioned stool tucked beneath it. The surface holds a tray with perfume bottles and what looks like a small dish of wrapped chocolates. In the corner near the window, there’s a large armchair with curved arms and a matching footstool, positioned beside a side table and a standing lamp. Everything about it feels designed for comfort, for luxury, for indulgence.

It was homey and there was not a thing that showed riches or any extravagant item inside. I could see near the fireplace, herbs hanging from above as they were drying. A globe was next to a small wooden desk on one side of the room, while a three-seater couch with two armchairs was placed in front of a fireplace with a small handmade that was polished and used as a coffee table. Colorful cushions sat on the couch as the three of us walked towards the seating area, taking our seats. Damon and I sat down on the couch while Azrael took one of the two armchairs as Talia disappeared into her small kitchen, coming out from it with a tray filled with what smelled like tea.

On a ninety-degree angle from it, there was a tabletop in black marble, held up at the other end by a sphere of what looked like brass. On the inner wall, there were two black leather couches and two armchairs. Under the coffee table that stood between the couches, there was what looked like a delightfully soft, creme-coloured rug. Next to the door there was a bookcase with a built-in bar and on the other side of it another door.

I had to shake my head and push up off the couch before I embarrassed myself even more. Toya stood with a groan. “Is there anything else coming today?” We both looked around the room and stared at the new couch and love seat. Both we a soft grey that was over plush. I knew as soon as I saw them with Sterling, I needed them. I shook my head. “The chair was on back order.” I smiled when I thought of my reading chair. It was a double wide seat with a soft plush cover. That one really made Nix want to purr.

She sat in the middle of the table and for the first real time, really looked at it. The leather cover was actually very soft, in a dark rich chocolate color, and beneath it was a thick layer of foam or perhaps some kind of batting, but it was comfortable regardless. The wood was dark and highly polished and the belt that had held her down was a wide strip of tanned cow hide. The smell echoed the newness and she smiled. A giant cream-colored corner couch took the main stage, right in the middle of the living room floor, while a light wood coffee table sat on top of a large fluffy cream rug. One seat of the couch faced the gorgeous open fireplace, surrounding it was a giant marble mantle and above the mantle was a massive flat screen TV. The other couch seat faced out on to the garden. You could see the entire garden from the couch, as they had one of those beautiful folding glass walls. You could fold panel by panel until the whole wall was gone. By the left and right is a three-seater on each side. Then in the middle of the U-shape is a cockroach brown coffee table with the top made of glass. Under it is a crystal blue pompom carpet with little strands of wools made of cockroach brown wool. The tiles are also plane crystal blue bare of any design. Three large cockroach brown curtains with large crystal blue daises imprinted on them cover an oak door leading to the smaller parlor while the other two cover two large glass windows.
