Rendezvous
She had never expected to see a plane that contained lamps, faux plants, curtains, and a dining room table.
"This is where we sit," Cassandra instructed her when they'd reached the row of armchairs. On the left side, were two recliner chairs with a retractable television screen. On the other side, was a dining room table surrounded by four chairs. Of course, every piece of furniture was bolted down in some way. A flight attendant once explained to her that in order to keep objects from flying around if they hit turbulence, they had to install a sheet of metal into the core of each table. Then the base of each lamp and vase contained a magnet, which would keep them in place.
