His vision was going hazy, limbs trembling. His mind felt numb. He knew he could stop them for just few minutes more. He doesn't know what will happen next. But he wanted to try till his end. He can't let his little Dove down. No! He has to do it. Distracted he doesn't realise when a bloodhound jumps on his back. Ripping his skin. And he rumbles. Shaking it off.

My chest tightens. I’ve never been so weak. She holds me in her hands. She could destroy me with a few words. “You’ll be fine here with Elspeth. I’ll be back later,” I blurt and stride off like my heels are on fire. I’m a coward. I’m afraid of a hundred-and-thirty-pound female with a wolf so small she could probably fit in a groundhog hole. I hope she doesn’t ever get that idea in her head. The animals flee when we arrive, but their tunnels are everywhere. If her wolf fled down there, I’d have to dig her out. It’d be a mess.

“You do that again, and I'll hit you so hard, you'll be in pain.” He let out a mocking chuckle, looking at me. “Don't act so tough, Amelia. You're still a coward hidden behind a mask of bravery.” I sat up on the bed, moving to the far end of the large bed. His words sent a slight chill down my spine. Maybe, I'm really still a coward. “You're delusional,” I said, trying to mask the doubt in my voice. “I'm not the same coward of a girl you could abuse years ago, Aiden. I can defend myself now.”

Ruth’s POV I’m not scared of you,” she stutters. I smirk and lean close to her. “I don’t give a fuck,” Cynthia slowly stands up, she is a prideful woman and hates to accept defeat but I am her queen, even her lycan could recognize that. My mistake was to turn my back on her, Cynthia jumps on me and digs her sharp claws into my flesh. I let out a howl and immediately hear my mate’s voice comes through the mind link, asking if I was okay.

The dog chased after me wildly and grinned. Finally, it broke from the reins and pounced on me. I was dressed in an ancient costume, which made it difficult for me to move. In addition, I rarely exercise, so how could I run faster than a dog? The dog opened its mouth and bit at me. I screamed in fright, covering my face with my arm, afraid that my face would be bitten. Ailina’s POV: The entire crew was in a state of chaos, and I watched it coldly.

In a hoarse voice, she shouted, "Christopher, after Mom and Dad died, we've only had each other in this world. "If you're upset about anything, just tell me. Ignoring the danger, Heather rushed toward the crocodile and snatched the shoe from its jaws. As she tried to retreat, the crocodile bit down on her leg.

Against absolute power, Taylor’s pleas were useless. The bodyguard took out a hot iron rod, then pressed his head down until the back of his skull touched the floor. The bodyguard did not press too deeply, but the pressure was enough to leave a permanent scar. The scar formed two clear words: Stud Dog. Taylor no longer had any of his earlier arrogance. He lay on the floor and whimpered like a dog. After dealing with Taylor, I turned to look at Toby, who was cowering in the corner.

As for dogs, they may have courage, but when approached, they become frightened because they’re only brave when people are far away. “You’re just dogs that can only bite and bark—is that it? Just like that, that proud bully of a dog was reduced into bits and pieces. It took that truck to put his feet back on the ground. “What a morbid thought!” Polly shook his head. He should not be thinking about morbid things. “This is a step closer to having my human finally! I don’t want her to get that gloomy vibe from me.”

He quickly removed his shorts, tossed them away, and shifted into a big brown wolf. We snared and bared our fangs at each other. I could hear him. He was telling me that he would kill me, and I replied. 'You are nothing but a coward. Cowards cover up their crimes with ignorance. You know what you are doing, but you pretend not to know because you are jealous that Laika defeated a beast you and your fathers could not defeat. You keep asking yourself how a mere Omega did that... "
