After tying the calf paws the cowboy has to mount the animal and raise his hands to stop the time. Kayden is the next one in the dispute, representing Walker ranch. The announcer says Kayden’s name and he’s largely applauded by a wide number of girls that screams his name as if he was a rock star. “Ridding the pure blood Sky and representing Walker ranch, from Portland, the cowboy that makes the girls sigh, Kayden Vaugh.” Kayden entered galloping Sky steady and reaching the heavy calf from around 320 yards apart, like an arrow he jumped out of the mare and tied the calf, quickly raising his hands, doing spectacular time of 9.48 seconds.

"A cow? How big?" A smirk tickled his lips, and his eyes glittered with amusement. "Apparently, Charity didn't really understand what she was asking for when she suggested Austin make the frame ten times the size of a real cow." I covered my mouth when a little gasp escaped. "That would be enormous! Would it even fit under the stoplight on Main Street?" We only had one. Charlie shook his head. "Austin had to cut it off at the knees. Needless to say, his cow is ridiculous looking, and he's less than happy."

He had to admit this place wasn't as bad as he'd expected. He let his gaze wander around the shop, taking in things he hadn't really noticed yesterday. The artwork on the walls, for instance. Yesterday, they had been blurs of color. Today, he realized they were great examples of contemporary Western art. The style was very distinctive and arresting. Someone had lovingly painted a magnificent stallion, a small herd of horses galloping across a pasture, a tired cowboy at the end of a long day, and other similar scenes. Whoever this was might have come from Montana like he had, because the essence of the cowboy had been captured perfectly.

“Yep. Who cares? They were just the way I like ’em: big and round and bouncy and then they were gone.” Carter laughed. “What about you, bro? Getting any in that godforsaken part of Wyoming?” Carter glanced down at the canvas. A serene Macie stared at him from the back of a dappled gray mare. Definitely not the image of his wild Macie from last night. With her sexy legs clamped around his waist, his hat sliding off her head, him swallowing her cries as she came from him fucking her against the wall. Man. She’d hardly made it inside the trailer and he was on her. In her.

VOLUME SIX: A COWBOY AND HIS SWEET SPOT Carter's ass bounced on the hard seat of his banged-up pickup truck as he drove across the state line into Wyoming. Man, he was tired, and his butt hurt. Riding fourteen hours on the back of a horse was much more comfortable than six on the worn-out seat in the truck.

The cool afternoon breeze swept my curly hair into my face. A group of seniors were playing football nearby. I sat alone, headphones on my ears, staring at the face I had sketched in my sketchbook five years ago. A face I liked to stare at to fuel my anger and hatred for people.

She pulled her hair up again and then pulled her ponytail through her Wild Creek Ranch cap. When she arrived downstairs, she noted the boys were similarly dressed as well. They had taken to wearing Wild Creek Ranch shirts when they were working. They had made strides in building the website they had told her it was still a work in progress, but Kaleb handed her a disc that he said had all the pictures he’d taken on it. When she opened it on her computer she was stunned, he was seriously talented. He had edited them and had some dynamic photos of the ranch and the horses. The twins were prominent in his pictures; he’d taken a photograph of her on Shadow, while Jackson rode next to her on Samp

Every so often, the sharp crack of his bullwhip would resound through the air, a stern reminder for the cattle to stay in formation. Alexandra watched him, admiration swelling within her. His cowboy gear fit him perfectly, enhancing his ruggedly handsome features. His hat sat comfortably on his head, casting a shadow over his intense eyes. His work boots were worn and weathered, much like the man himself, bearing the marks of countless days under the sun. She admired him not just for his good looks, but for his dedication and work ethic. He handled the cattle with a calm assurance, his every move revealing years of experience. He was a man in his element, a cowboy through and through.

Pissed mainly at that flutter in his stomach when she said she'd come back later—a feeling that wasn't fear, but rather, anticipation? "Shit," he grumbled into the pillow, burying his face in it. Serenity Creek had turned into a minefield, and he, Ethan Callahan, the toughest cowboy in the county, was stepping on all the bombs. And the nurse with the brown eyes was the biggest one.

< Waylon chuckled, >You know I love you. Dante smirked. He reached over the bed and slapped Waylon’s ass. >And you know I love you, mate.< >I do, now go!< Waylon said and covered his head with the yellow blanket. Dante shook his head unamused and walked out of the room. He quickly cleaned the living room and as he was cleaning, he found the drawing that Waylon was talking about. Dante was so confused, he turned the page around to look at the wolf properly. He could tell that the drawing was upside down because Caiden drew himself, too.
