Crimes and Punishment

Crimes and Punishment

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

If Only He Knew | cσмρℓεтε∂

I am his best friend who has been in love with him for fifteen years when I should be using this time to get over him. I patted the sofa, dusted the shelves and put my books in a row. I am a bibliophile and a strong one at that. Sherlock Holmes and Augustus Dupin are by far my most favourite ones, me being a fan of mystery thrillers. I am such an addict of criminal profiling that I actually have list and screenshots of wanted criminals or serial killers on my phone. Serial killings were always my favourite ones, as they have something In common and it always piqued my curiosity as to why there are still serial killers like Jack the Ripper or Stripper on lease. I guess not

I can relate to this story, I once was in love with my best friend in high school but like this story I hid it because I didn’t want it to ruin our friendship. Until we got separated when we both went to different universities. Seen him once accidentally in the mall but that was it.

Murder on the Northwind Trail

Murder on the Northwind Trail

"How could you even think that about me? Yeah, I survived, but I was a victim, too. And now, just because of one photo, you're calling me a killer? Do you have any idea how much that hurts?" I swallowed hard, my voice breaking. "I said I probably fell asleep around 10 PM. I never said I was sure. My head was spinning from the altitude, and I wasn't clear. And come on—I'm just one woman. How the heck could I take out five grown men?" Alex's stare locked onto my face. "Yeah… doesn't seem likely." Just then, the coroner walked in with a fresh report, the pages still smelling like ink. He handed it straight to Alex.

She did her best. “People who’ve never done this think truckers and lone travelers who pick up hitchhikers are all bad, scary monsters,” my mother says. “They watch these murder shows on TV and they think of big ugly men with junk food guts and rusty knives stuck through their belts. They hear about maimed hookers and shallow graves. Most people like to believe the worst, especially if it’s about something they’ve never seen up close.”

he said, sipping his coffee. I glanced around at the others in the shop, noticing the tattoos on their necks, bold black ink spelling out "Brooks." The sight knocked out any remaining fear, replacing it with an new emotion, confidence. Atleast I had people to back me up if Damian's gang showed up. “So, let’s get down to business,” Dexter said with a wink. “What do you want me to do, my Lord?” I leaned forward, my voice as cold as ice, “Sell their company. Ruin them. I want her on her knees, begging me, kissing my feet. Do not stop until she...begs.”

FASHION AND CRIME

FASHION AND CRIME

The first words came out slowly, but soon he was writing quickly, as if someone was speaking through his mind: "To Mayor Michael Wallace, Subject: Report on the Successful Resolution of the Recent High-Profile Heists and Robbery" Detective James paused, tapping the pen against the paper. His heart beat faster as he continued. The details needed to be perfect. He wrote about how the police force had executed a strategic operation using a convertible bait car to catch the thieves. He framed it so that the suspects they had arrested were the same ones responsible for the recent bank heist, the wedding heist, and the robbery at the Abibba building.
