House Of Fire - Book One of Seven Series

House Of Fire - Book One of Seven Series

Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

Nobody could touch that book in between the spell except me back then and that was how i saved Diana from Ravenna, we fled not long after and never look back again. Diana stole this book from her and I took it from her seeing how she was still under so much effect of that black book. it took me a year to bring back Diana from that kind of darkness. Now facing the very same book I hope it won’t trigger any bad memories inside her head. “I am ready.” She said and the three words held an unkind resolve in them. “What’s that?” I asked looking at the new item she added in the already list of things I bought for the earlier spell.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

Hanging in the balance

But together, they were unstoppable, ready to face whatever came their way. Gabriel's disappearance left Scarlett feeling a deep sense of emptiness. She couldn't bear the thought of him being held captive by her ancient enemy. Determined to find him, she knew she needed help—help that could only come from the best. Scarlett pored over the ancient book, searching for any mention of this mysterious ally. The pages were worn and fragile, but she pressed on, her fingers tracing the words as if they held the key to Gabriel's rescue. The Widow's Gambit

The Widow's Gambit

"Let me burn it for you, so you can stop dreaming about money that never existed." One by one, I tossed in his military manuals, letters, and then his clothes into the fire. The flames caught and climbed. Josh instinctively stepped forward to stop me, but hesitated—his face turning pitch-black—as he forced himself to stay still. Finally, I picked up the gifts he'd given me over the years and tossed them into the heart of the fire. "Riley!" he burst out, a strangled sound. "Those were from Josh! How could you?"

The Broken Luna Returns

The Broken Luna Returns

Only the faint rustle of leaves. I stepped closer to the hedge where I had seen the shadow earlier. The faint scent of earth and dew filled my nose. I reached out, parted the leaves— A soft gasp escaped me. There, buried beneath the roots, was a torn piece of fabric — deep crimson, embroidered with a familiar sigil. The same symbol that was on the cover of the blood book. “What in the world…” I whispered. Before I could inspect it further, a low growl echoed behind me.

The Secret Love of the Wolf Prince

The Secret Love of the Wolf Prince

So I ended up telling her about Lily, Selene and Aurora. “So there’s still one of them roaming free in the castle?” she cried. “Remember the girl who brought us tea the other day?” “That’s why she stared at you like that!” “I’m afraid so.” In the afternoon, she helped me sit by the window with one of the books she’d brought, and told me to open it while she fetched the chest with my brushes and ribbons. My hair was already long enough for her to try more complex braids. I was mesmerized by the book. It was a true work of ark, written in black ink with gorgeous, colorful illustrations in most of the pages. It was a children’s story, telling how the wolves had arrived in the Dale.

Morgana said and handed over the book to her. Diana opened the book to the middle page and placed it on the table. "You said you needed a spell right?". Morgana said. "Not actually a spell but anyway it's gonna help". She said. The page of the book displayed the map of the city. It was a power magic book from ancient witches. Diana pricked herself and sprinkled the blood on the book. "It shows me where I want". Diana said. The blood began to disappear mole by mole until only one was left.

Fated Series: Bewitched

"I hope you understand the level of trust we're bestowing." They were silent a beat before Brady cleared his throat. "May I?" He gestured to the book. She glanced at Fiona for approval, then nodded. Kaida met him at the stand. The book was leather-bound and had a trinity knot etched on the cover. It was at least six inches thick and the uneven papers were aged to a cream color. Carefully, she opened it and found a pentagram on the first page, along with the name "Galloway" written in quill ink.

And that terrifies me. Because this isn’t a spellbook. It’s a ledger. A record. And every page lists something, or someone, connected to the loom. Names, dates, threads. Some are crossed out in gold. Some in blood. My fingers tremble as I trace the most recent entry. Scarlett – chosen vessel. Partial weave. Fire strain. Not yet fixed. The ink is still fresh. I flip pages backward, trying to breathe evenly. Victoria – secondary candidate. Accidental inclusion. Power strain unstable.
