Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

Elara's POV I couldn't stop the tears. They kept coming, soaking through my father's shirt as I clung to him like a lifeline. My shoulders shook with the force of my sobs, and every breath felt like it was being dragged from somewhere deep and broken inside me. The pain wasn't just physical anymore. All of it felt like it was crumbling, and I didn't know how to hold the pieces together.

Ruined by my Stepbrother

Ruined by my Stepbrother

A cry escaped my lips. Pain exploded through my shoulder and wrist as I slid halfway to the ground, breathing heavily and struggling to push myself back up. But everything hurt too much.

she looked back at me and rubbed my shoulders, “you’re crying because you just did the hardest thing that humans ever have to do. The right thing.” I nodded my head and sobbed some more to her. * That day seemed to never end. The next morning, I woke up and looked down at my pillow, which was soaking wet from my tears. I felt my face and felt it was dry, but there were dried tears in a steady line that went from my eyes down to my chin, a part of my neck even had dried tears on it.

Even though "the waking up with a stranger in bed" is cliche, its one of those starts to a story that I love—it never fails to get me hooked. The language used is also close to flawless, making it easy to read and not stop and stare at weird grammar. Also, the narrative is excellent.

Very nice read. I admit I was a bit angry with Matthew in the beginning lol. His opinion of women. But love that Emma was able to turn him around. Lived the story and how in depth the author was with the readers.

Hunter's Revenge

Hunter's Revenge

I feel my shoulder tighten, knowing it's on the brink of dislocation. "What would your mother say if she knew you were attacking a defenceless girl?" I spit. It takes everything inside me not to scream out in pain as Silvio pulls my arm further back, dislocating my shoulder in one fell swoop. I fall to the ground, sucking on my teeth to prevent myself from screaming in pain. I coddle my shoulder, attempting to brace it from just dangling in place. This isn't the first time my shoulder has been dislocated, and I doubt it will be the last.

Tears of Sorrow

Tears of Sorrow

" Don't stray to far away for your mate may not stay the same, crazed and starving they will run away, doomed to their fate to meet the darkness that cannot be kept at bay." Echoing in my mind as I see a bright yellowish light come into view. I stand slowly blinking my eyes, trying to focus on the silhouette that has appeared against the blinding light. I try to shade my eyes with hand hoping it will allow me to get a better view of the thing standing in front of me, when my vision shifts becoming crstyal clear. I see Sarah standing close to the edge of a cliff. The smell of salt hitting my nose, before I register that she's crying. Hearing hear sobs of sadness as she wept. She turns to me w

My Badboys Alphas

He muttered and wiping his tears, I smiled and took steps closer to him, I caress his face, and wipe his tears with my thumb, and slowly I pulled him into my arms, “Who said men don't cry? Crying is not a sign of weakness, it's actually a sign of how strong that we are, you can cry on my shoulder as much as you want, I promise to wipe your tears” I said to him patting his back, he hugged me back so tightly and broke into tears, I've never seen Nile cry this much, we spent minutes standing in that same position hugging each other When he finally pulled away, he turned away from me

Why's the Don Crying After I Dumped Him?

Why's the Don Crying After I Dumped Him?

It was the 20th floor, with Fifth Street's traffic streaming far below. Marco burst into tears on the spot. He lunged forward, grabbed me, and pulled me onto the carpet. He kneeled on the spot and repeatedly slapped himself. "I won't say those horrible things anymore, Lina. I'll send Fiora away for good so that she'll never appear before you again." I gave in once I looked at Marco's bruised and swollen face. It seemed like things between us had returned to normal, with him treating me with even greater devotion and care.

The Billionaire’s Hidden Hacker Bride

The Billionaire’s Hidden Hacker Bride

His concern when my shoulder was injured in an accident, when he fainted and called my name, when he hugged me tightly. When we laughed. When we cried. All those flashes came flooding in, piling up like an endless reel of tape. "Selene? Why are you crying?" Noah's voice snapped me back to reality. He looked at me in confusion, his face filled with worry. I only then realized I was crying. Damian beside me didn't say a word; he seemed to be giving me space to grieve. Meanwhile, Mom had walked over to me. Without saying a word, she hugged me, gently patting my back.

I said rubbing her back and trying to hold back from crying too. "No it's not," she muffled into my shoulder. Just like me, Celine never cried. Growing up, the only thing that managed to penetrate hard enough to make her shed a tear was seeing me in trouble, but the fact that she was here sobbing for minutes on my shoulder right at her front door was enough to let me know that whatever had happened had splintered her heart.

Tempting A Billionaire

Tempting A Billionaire

It's a reminder of the power of human connection during difficult times. “It's okay to cry,” Mary leads me to a nearby bench where we sit together, her comforting presence a balm to my wounded soul. Her gentle touch on my shoulder and reassurance that it's okay to cry offer me a sense of comfort and understanding. As I gather my emotions, I express my regrets, "I am sorry. I couldn't protect her."
