Mr Cruz [BOOK 1]

Mr Cruz [BOOK 1]

I picked up the iPad that she had almost thrown across the room in frustration. Numbers and charts bounced up and down on the screen. Bar graphs jumped, making their own paths and I gazed down at the titles. I swiped my finger through the forecasts of monthly profits and budgets. I had a vague idea of what I was looking at, so I opened a spreadsheet and began typing.

The Legacy of the Alpha King: Hiding his Secret Twins

The Legacy of the Alpha King: Hiding his Secret Twins

Noah wades in and to my surprise, agrees with me. “How about you and I do something together, let….” And I have to swallow my pride and also the gut wrenching feeling of actually calling him this. “…Mummy and Daddy catch up on some emails. Candice gave me a cupcake recipe…we could try that?” Candice had actually left a few printed on my bed spread the day we were leaving. I got the hint. I couldn’t bake but I could eat cake. How hard can it be? “You want to make cupcakes with me?” Her faces turns angelic all of a sudden. Hmm I’m not convinced. I think she had the means to send me to an early grave. I don’t think angels do that, only little demons.

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Kas’s POV “Are you sure about this?” My wolf Elexis asks when the timer on the oven goes off. “Absolutely.” I say confidently. “I refuse to be a prisoner in our own home, Lex.” I pull the cupcakes out of the oven. Carrot cake caramel. I’ve been experimenting to perfect the recipe for my bakery for weeks so we can add it to the fall menu. The little browned mounds of cake finally look perfect and smell like heaven. I set them on the cooling rack and make a few notes in my notebook before I go get a shower.

I am SO glad that I read this story/book!!! It was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!! Such a great storyline & plot, and especially characters!! SO sad that some important characters died at the end, but I know it wasn’t Kas’s fault!! I felt “every” emotion known to man while reading it!!!

Just finished “Forever in the past and forever in the future” for the second time. Loved it as much as the first time! Kas/Lex & Bronx/Saint are great, their dynamics are wonderful. The supporting characters are amazing and a great compliment to the mains. So excited to continue on with the sequel.

The equipment and ingredients for baking are already lined up. "Are you going to start?" he asked in surprise. "It's time for me to come home. I can watch you." "Yes, I'm going to start. I've also bought boxes." I showed him the packaging sample. "And I had a logo made. It's a cupcake with the letter Z on top." I have fixed my apron and hair net. I smiled while looking at my notebook List of flavors. "Oh, that sure tastes good! I'll be the first to taste it, huh?" He smiled at me and entered his room.

My Rejected Billionaire Luna Wife

My Rejected Billionaire Luna Wife

“We’re a dream team. Remember back in school? The bakery?” The girls all giggled then. “Oh…the bakery,” Amelia sighed. “It was our honor’s project, if I remember correctly,” Olivia said. “And we SO nailed it.” “Because we had your help,” Amelia smiled. Amelia and Olivia had run the business side of the bakery (as per the project requirements). But their project had been the most successful one in the class because they had utilized Laura and Lily’s help. True chemists, Lily and Laura had created ‘one of a kind’ cupcakes. They’d developed a brand new flavor – watermelon – and a special frosting that changed colors based on the temperature. The cupcakes had been a hit and Olivia and Amelia ace

His Bride By Contract

His Bride By Contract

Mia’s POV~ I sat at the dining table, the surface buried beneath scattered papers. Scribbled recipes filled one page after another, chocolate tarts, lemon drizzle cakes, rustic sourdoughs. Beside them were rough sketches of logos I had attempted in the margins, lopsided drawings of cupcakes and swirling fonts that never looked quite right. Next to that, clumsy lists of costs stared back at me with unforgiving numbers. Flour, sugar, butter, rent, equipment, the sums never seemed to balance. My fingers drummed against the wood in a restless rhythm, as though the tapping might summon answers I couldn’t find.

Hazel sighed shaking her head. “Well, what were you even trying to cook?” She said looking at the bowl that had a batter but now it was fully empty. She stared at the burnt pans only to freeze at his answer. “Cupcakes. You like them a lot that’s why.” She blinked at him in shock. “Cupcakes? And on a pan?” Cyrus nodded confidently making her look at him in more disbelief. “Cyrus cupcakes are baked not cooked.” He frowned. “What? Isn’t it the same thing?” She facepalmed herself. She never thought that such a cunning mafia mob didn’t even know the difference between baking and cooking.

This is a very dark novel. It's probably the darkest I have ever read. The author warns us, & yes, there are triggers. I am 50% through this book, and it is well written. Has some grammar errors, but the story itself keeps you interested, & it's unique. If you want a dark Mafia book, then read this.

He placed a single, crystallized violet petal on top of each one using a pair of tweezers he usually used for extracting bullets. He wiped his hands on the pink apron. He pulled his phone from his tactical belt. He snapped a high-resolution photo. He opened the browser. He logged into the backend of a website: TheTacticalBaker.com. He uploaded the photo. Subject: Lavender Honey Cupcakes with Lemon Curd Core. Yield: 12 Units. Difficulty: Moderate. Notes: The lemon curd provides a sharp counter-offensive to the sweetness of the buttercream. Execute with tea.

Penetrating the Cold Ceo's Heart

Penetrating the Cold Ceo's Heart

I liked them already, just for the way they treated their staff. “I’ll take you up on that offer of help. I have to get in there and make sure my Dad doesn’t try to steal my girl again.” He grinned and followed after his wife, and I turned to take care of the cupcakes. Estell thanked me for the cupcake and went back to work while I got lost in one of my other favorite things to do where baking is concerned. Organizing the cupcakes in some sort of pattern that catches the eye. I was happy that people loved what I baked and I was finally prepared to start school the following Monday.

she suggested, her voice filled with excitement. Theo's face lit up with joy at the thought of creating cupcakes with Mama Hazel. Together, they gathered the ingredients and set to work, mixing, pouring, and decorating with a flair that only a true baking duo could muster. As the cupcakes baked in the oven, Theo and Mama Hazel sat at the kitchen table, sharing stories and giggles as they waited for their sweet creations to be ready. The kitchen filled with the heavenly scent of vanilla and sugar, wrapping them in a cozy blanket of happiness and anticipation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Oh, cupcakes and billionaires? That’s such a fun combo! I’ve actually stumbled across a few romance novels that blend these two worlds in the most delightful ways. One that comes to mind is 'The Billionaire’s Bakery' by Sarah Smith—it’s about a small-town cupcake shop owner who catches the eye of a tech mogul. The chemistry is sweet (pun intended), and the descriptions of frosting flavors are downright mouthwatering. There’s also 'Sprinkled with Love' by Jessica Clare, where a billionaire investor secretly funds a failing bakery, leading to all sorts of messy, sugary drama.

If you’re into lighter reads with a side of whipped cream and high-stakes business deals, these books are perfect. They often play with the 'opposites attract' trope, mixing the warmth of small-town charm with the glitz of billionaire lifestyles. Plus, the baking scenes are so vivid, you might find yourself craving a red velvet cupcake by chapter three. I love how these stories balance fluffy romance with just enough tension to keep you flipping pages.
