She shook her head. I wished she had answered it. Her ringtone was the 1961 version of can't help falling in love which meant that Elvis Presley's voice lingered through the spaces between us. It was odd how things both beautiful and ugly took place. The poor neighborhood and its old establishments did not quite add up to the cerulean skies and the vintage melodies. Much the same to how I am no match to Catherine. It was a relief when the song stopped playing. Catherine turned off her phone after that.

Cassandra POV "Yes." That one simple word from him almost crashed my world. Tears started to brim in my eyes. I can't look into his eyes, so I stare blankly on the grass underneath my feet. I suddenly don’t have the urge to go to the spa anymore after Xavier telling me about all the dirty things he’s going do to me while he kept me in his office. I want to be there now, keeping him entertained while he works. Why didn’t he take me? A surge of jealousy shoots through my body. “Do I have an access key?” Cupid reaches into his back pocket, pulling one out. He hands over the white sparkly card that has my name etched at the top. Under my name, it reads Mine in bold letters.

As we stepped out of the chapel and into the sunlight, I couldn't help but steal a glance at Edmond, my husband. The word held a new weight, a new beauty. "I love you," I told him. "I love you more," He answered. More like promised. "Ehm... Ehm..." A familiar voice interjected, her voice rasping with urgency, drawing our focus toward her. "I hate to break up the cringe lovefest, but I am on official business," Cupid declared, her tone a mix of dry humor and matter-of-factness as she approached us. "Congratulations, by the way. Your union is another win for Snuggle, and we hope we did the best we could."

He took out his phone and unlocked it. Then he noticed that last night he received a message from an unknown number. His one hand moved towards the apple juice and his thumb moved towards the message to tap on it. He started sipping the juice and finally opened the message. "Please make me pregnant hubby!" The message registered on his mind and he spitted out the juice on Ariel's face in shock. "What the hell, bro!" Ariel exclaimed in shock, as her makeup and dress were ruined. Ray and Scarlett started laughing hysterically seeing Ariel's horrified face.
