What the ********? Levi went through all the curses in his vocabulary five times, and he still didn’t feel any better!! Migraine, gastritis, vinegar, heartache! Levi crumpled back onto the bed, clutching his chest, like a terminally ill man on his dying breath. His shaking fingers tumbled around the light screen, trying to close the image and issue an order for someone to get it removed from the net, but he kept pressing all the wrong buttons! Someone help!! Make this atrocity disappear right this instant!!!

Remembering made me shudder. He gave me a sharp look. "You heard them? Felt them?" "I - Yes, I think so." I stepped closer to him, suddenly afraid. I knew nothing about where I was. Leo placed his hands on my bare arms. "Those are the Cursed. They are creatures who turned their backs on Polonias and the goodness of the magic in the land. They are like the demons of your world. Some are desperate for a way out of the darkness, while others seek to pull unsuspecting travelers in. They are the cause of the Sickness." He shook his head. "Did you understand them?"

Suddenly, from the corner of the room, their mother’s voice rose in a broken wail. “Carla! Don’t take one of my children. It’s just me… It’s just me. Don’t make them suffer!” The plea cut through the air like a knife, raw and pleading. Their mother’s eyes were wide with terror, her bound hands twisting against the ropes as she rocked back and forth. The name “Carla” hung in the room like a summoned ghost, a tangible thread linking the present torment to the sins of the past. Eloise and Elena exchanged a glance heavy with shared dread—the curse was stirring again, drawing closer, its tendrils reaching for what little they had left.

A freak accident that left me completely alone in the world. But now, I couldn’t help but wonder. Were they werewolves too? Had they known this would happen to me? Alaric said the curse didn’t activate unless you killed someone. If they were werewolves, had they never triggered the curse? Or was it something else entirely? I glanced at the window, where the light of the setting sun was fading, giving way to the night. The full moon was coming. I could feel it—a strange hum at the back of my mind, growing stronger with each passing moment.

Gideon quickly recalled the details from the Book of Medicamentum's concoction section. "Cursebane Pill… Cursebane Pill! I remember now…" His eyes brightened with realization. Although the book didn't include a recipe for the Cursebane Pill, it did contain one for the Purifying Pill. The pill was reputed to cleanse all demonic and evil toxins from the body, and it was far superior to the Cursebane Pill. Even if the curse couldn't be lifted entirely, it should at least be able to suppress it. "We should discuss this further. How about finding a secure location?" Gideon suggested to Sylvester, his eyes filled with determination.

she demanded at once. “I am cursed…or I was cursed.” I said and Kylo squished my hand. “My Luna and my pack went through a big tragedy, Alpha Zenith. A half-witch cursed her to be the misery of my pack, and after our coronation, the curse started to happen. And the only way to cut the curse was her death, we asked the Hybrid Reaper’s help but he created a bond with her. I hope you can help us cut it.” She looked at me, and pity lingered in her eyes.

I stop abruptly and the man stops with me, his hand grabbing my arm and pulling me close. "Did not think someone like you would be this shy-" he traces my face with the back of his fingers and I slap his hand away from my face, shaking lightly. "Someone like me?!" I hiss between my teeth and it seems that my rage only fuels something within the man as he smirks at me, showing off his disgustingly yellow teeth. Up close, Father Cassimir is even more disgusting. Maybe if he took better care of himself... no! It was a matter of the heart! his heart was tainted and no amount of water and soap would wash that away!

“You can have all of them if you wish, Mr billionaire,” Laura Emerson commented, “you are disgusting, Kenny. You know very well Luke is not into these kinds of.....” she was abruptly interrupted by Kenny, "Don’t worry, I have treats for you too, look behind you," Laura was reluctant to look, but out of curiosity, he took a sneak peek and notice two muscular men scantily dressed with oily, shiny skin. Laura diverted her gaze sharply and uttered “eeww,” under her breath.

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.

I sat outside, staring into nothing. The air was clean now, it didn't smell as bas as it did when the dead wolves were still all over the compound, on the ground, rotting away. I had tried to use a technique from the book to clean the environment, at least purify it from the disturbing stench we had somehow, gotten accustomed to. But I couldn't, I was too weak to even turn red to white. Cyrus says my wolf hasn't healed enough for me to use any technique.
