Marissa POV. Once I’m in the hallway, I stagger as I sob. Leaning against the wall for strength, all I can hear is Robert screaming and trashing the office. It breaks my heart that he could do this. Zarah is whimpering in my head. I push off the wall, needing to get back to my room and pack my things to leave. I can’t stay here, I just can’t. I’m the laughingstock of the Kingdom. Poor little Marissa, who’s mate cheated on her, and she is now rejected once again. I warned him and there was no going back if he did this.

My wolf said. As seconds pass, the heat, the fire, the bones shifting. Muscles pulling tight. I cringed, hand clutching my chest. She’s coming… My vision blurred. A low snarl echoed in my mind. “You should calm down, Silver. I am trying to connect with the spirit.” And from across the square, Elder Mira turned to me, her blind eyes suddenly glowing. She walked toward me, moving faster than her cane should allow. She touched my cheek. “Silver Colt. The Cursed child born under the Blood Moon eighteen years ago.”

Kim yelled, snapping me back to the situation at hand. I leaned in, allowing my canines to extend. "Sorry about this." I murmured, pressing my mouth against her neck. "N-no!" Marissa gasped, realizing what I was up to. "Can't..." she continued, strengthening her attempts at breaking free. "Kayden... he has Kayden!" Kayden? Lifting my head, I fixed my gaze on Marissa’s pained expression. Who the hell was Kayden? Unable to control my curiosity, I pressed my forehead against Marissa’s and allowed myself access to her thoughts. However, what I found myself staring at left me both shocked and amazed.

Marissa POV After the party and Prissy l madness. My grandfather complained about her craziness. She and Stella are crazy. Always finding fault in people when things don't go their way. The media was blown up. I am sure I will be followed by the press, I looked at the tattoo on my wrist. My identity. An heiress. Marissa is dead and she is not coming back, I am Lucia, I have always been Lucia. I closed my eyes. I didn't know if I should call Matt to talk and try to explain things with. He is the only friend I sincerely made as Marissa, a friend I made outside my circle.

Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Your brother, the Alpha King, is cursed."

And of your Luna. My jaw tensed. “Who?” He hesitated. “A woman. She identifies herself as Marissa Hale. Marissa. “Where is she?” I asked, my voice dropping low. I saw her there along the Silver Fang lines, Harren replied. She has made a name of herself there, telling stories of how your family is corrupt, that Lila is a witch and your mother has lost her standing. Majority of them rejected her as a rejected outcast. But… some listen.”

Her head snapped to the side, and she let out a pathetic whimper. "And this one was for tormenting my friend," I added, looking down at her. Tasha was astonished and couldn’t even find the strength to stand up. She just sat there in the grass, her mouth hanging open as she realized the girl she used to kick around wasn't there anymore. Kira, on the other hand, seemed horrified by what I had just done. She reached out and pulled at my sleeve, her face pale. "Cora, stop! You don't understand," Mira said, her voice low and frantic. "Tasha is actually under Marissa now. She’s her favorite little spy."

I asked, and as if realization hit her, Marisa immediately turned back to her human form before wearing her shorts and shirt. "You better watch it, girl. I am out for you. I am leaving you right now only because I don't want to spoil Evander's birthday. Regarding Evander's reaction, you don't need to worry about that. I know you came into his life only a month ago. You are not the first girl who has tried to take Evander away from me. I know how to handle brats like you. Watch out," Marissa said as she turned towards the lake, and feeling annoyed, I waved my hand at the ground, making the wet soil below her legs slide a bit, and she fell into the chilling water of the lake, screaming like a
