He barked coldly into the phone as soon as he answered. "I will tell you this once. Don't you ever hang up the call when I am talking. And check your phone. After you are done, you can press one on the burner to call back or the other is up to you." The voice sounded colder as it came from the burner phone. Then the person hanged up. Chris was confused as he didn't know what was going on. Is this a prank? He thought. Just then, his phone rang. It was a message notification from an unknown number.

Just as he finished speaking, my phone rang and it was the restricted number that had always been calling me. "He is calling," I announced. "Pick it up and act natural," Kendra whispered.
