Cute Book Nooks Novels & Stories

I took in the sight of Noah’s warm and welcoming apartment. The walls were painted cream and there was a couch of the same color, only a one or two shades darker. A brown table stood in front of it, three books piled neatly on it. I was not much of a reader but admired those who loved to get whisked to unknown lands by books. Three art frames were pinned to the wall, right above the couch. I admired the beautiful lamp on a stool near the couch. You could see the kitchen area with everything in order. Had Noah arranged everything because I was coming over or was he always like that? I hoped I’d have the chance to find out some day.

On the coffee table, my magazines are spread out in a fan. And tucked in the corner on top of a large, deep bay window, a mirror of my own, is a reading nook: different, but close enough, strung with twinkling Christmas lights glowing a dull orange and creating a cozy ambiance. Pillows, blankets, a little cushion, and my books plus even more, all of them neatly arranged, just the way I'd left them.

Noel smiled and silently uttered. "By then, I will wait." *** That night, as usual, Noel opened up his library in a random and hidden place, where it was reserved for only those with adventurous soul. While waiting, he read some new books that he bought from online shopping. Due to his interest in online shopping, or, to be precise, addiction, he bought a dozen boxes of books, all just to fill his collection. Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

As I perused the books, I could feel Aidan’s gaze on me. The shop, much like the one downstairs, boasted an impressive selection. These were books to be enjoyed in the coffee lounge, not purchased or taken home. A smile tugged at my lips as I reached the romance novel section. So, Well Thumbed had these too. I wondered if they had hidden gems, perhaps something I hadn’t read or that Uncle Alex’s book club, Bound To Please, hadn’t discovered yet.

But that's not what has me so excited. Natalia looked around in awe of the space. I can see her mind whirling about how to decorate it. The paint is nice blue-green with darker trim around the windows. We need some blackout curtains. That's the only thing I would add to the space. There is another set of french doors that lead to the back porch. A Jacuzzi right outside those doors would be perfect. I'll tell her about that later. Now, I led her to the closet on the left. I pointed up. She looked at a small cut-out door that presumably led to the attic.

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. The covers were embossed in a beautiful flower pattern, each color having a flower of its corresponding color on it.
