I let out a string of raspy gasps as my chest felt squeezed and as though a great weight was crushing my ribs. With each convulsion, my body trembled, and I buried my face in my hands to shut out the outside world. Short, shallow gasps of breath rushed from my chest as my heart felt like it was going to explode. My feelings were so strong that I felt trapped, helpless, and overwhelmed.

Caden's POV The day couldn't get any worse. Restless and overwhelmed, I found myself pacing incessantly in my study, my mind teetering on the brink of madness. The weight of responsibilities pressed down on me, squeezing the life out of my sanity. It was as if I were trapped in an ever-tightening vice, unable to escape the suffocating grip of my obligations.
