His Doctor Bride
The woman’s smile deepened slightly.
“Then you should get her these,” she said, reaching for a bouquet of fresh roses and placing them carefully on the counter.
Damien looked at them, then nodded slowly.
But his gaze didn’t stop there.
He glanced to the side, noticing another set of flowers.
“And those?” he asked.
“Hibiscus,” the woman replied. “Bright. Soft. They stand out without trying too hard.”
Damien considered that for a second.
“They look good,” he said.
