Tonight I was going to be her again. I did my hair. I put on earrings. I stood in front of the mirror and looked at myself for a moment, not critically, not hopefully, I just looked. Daisy Brown, twenty four, fashion photographer, currently residing in a borrowed room in an apartment that was not hers, in possession of all her own feelings and not willing to give them away for less than they were worth. I picked up my phone. Opened the chat between Casper and I. I typed quickly before I thought about it too carefully.

***Daisy’s POV.*** I reached the hospital and parked my car. I get out and walk as slowly as a snail in my heels. I have to stop wearing them, otherwise I can fall down. No. I will start wearing walking shoes, which would be good for gripping souls. I reach the cabin and open it to see the doctor is with someone. I turn to leave when Theo says, “Daisy, you are finally here. Come in.” I look at Theo for a full minute and ask, “Why are you wearing this?”

I just hope that I get to meet her once again and amend my wrongs and never let he go again. As I was about to leave the restaurant I saw the same blond haired blur eyed girl who has so many similarities with the Daisy I loved. She is an orphan and has been working in my office for more than eight years. She is a prodigy and strangely her name is Rosy which is similar to Daisy but I think I have started falling for her because she reminds me so much of the Daisy which I love and I don't know why but my heart says that she is the Daisy I have been looking for forgiveness.

Daisy rejected it for a second and then threw her personnel information on the table, "You have been hired to be my assistant." Emma's face was full of surprise, "I passed the interview just like that? You haven't even asked me a question." "No need. I like your name." Daisy laughed arrogantly. Her name was very ordinary. "You should be glad that you and Mrs. Grafton have the same name and surname. You don't need any professional knowledge to be my assistant. You just need to follow my design concept and go to work tomorrow." After Daisyr finished speaking, she stood up and left.

I question Cal, as he clambers out after me, kicking the trap door that once concealed me closed. He turns, looking at me. In the light, he is so much more handsome. But something painful and deep set lies within his gaze, and I feel mildly sorry for whoever the woman is that has to crack him. That's why I decide not to question him on who he is. "It's my job. What my boss says, goes." "Who's your boss? Grayson?"

At least, in as much as that I’d not even arrived at my planned destination before it had begun. I wondered if the others had similar twists or tricks, and, as confident as I felt, a shudder ran through me. Kace was right – it had been messed up. It was jarring to see an injured pack member on the ground, no matter how quickly he had jumped up to reassure me. I stumbled from my thoughts when Daisy tapped me on the shoulder. She had a short brown bob, a large but shapely nose, and sleek eyebrows. She looked tired, as though her trial had required a lot of physical exertion, but she was still smiling.

She was running towards something, not away. Daisy was waiting at the tiny, rustic station, leaning against her beat-up, mud-splattered Jeep. She wore worn hiking boots, faded jeans, and a thick flannel shirt over a thermal. She looked like a woodland spirit, utterly at home. When she saw Sienna, her face lit with a smile so bright it seemed to cut through the crisp mountain air.

Daisy’s tampered dress was dragged through the mud, and her normally flawless skin held dirt from her walk through the forest that took her to the neutral territory of the second-largest empire in the world. A shadow lurked around the corner, but Daisy wasn’t afraid. She probably should have been, but these last few weeks for her have not been easy. Since she stole the Moon Gem from one of the only women she saw as a mother figure, the only one she could consider a friend, things have not been pleasant for her.
