Damaged A Novels & Stories

Alpha Von said with a respectful nod. Damien smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Alpha Von. We value your interest. However, our mine is currently undergoing repairs following the recent explosion. It has caused some delays." Explosion? Was that the accident Damien had been involved with? We sat at a dinner where a grand feast had been prepared. Alpha Von nodded sympathetically. "I've heard about the incident and the chaos it caused in the pack as well. I hope everyone involved has recovered." "Sadly no, two of my workers died and one is in a coma" Damien replied sadly.

The water stopped a short while later, and Damien emerged with a towel slung low around his hips, his wet hair darkened to near black and his skin flushed from the heat. In the firelight, the damage was laid bare. A gash ran along his outer ribs on the left side, shallow but long. Bruises bloomed across his shoulder and down his hip in mottled shades of purple and black. Smaller cuts crisscrossed his forearms and the back of one knee. But his muscles still rolled with that familiar, coiled strength, and his gaze settled on her with an intensity that made her throat tighten. “Sit,” she said, patting the bed.

I honestly don't know what I keep expecting from him but if this is what marriage is well I have to take what I'm offered besides I was just collateral damage. ‎

Mister Yair checked Damian with medical equipment and soon came to a conclusion. "Mister Yair, how is Damian?" Patrick blurted out asking. "If I'm not mistaken, Damian has been attacked and suffered damages to his nerves in the past, which worsen over time, rendering him immobile," Mister Yair said confidently. "Yes, that's right. I've indeed suffered injuries before at the hands of the Libertons." Damian nodded. The Libertons were the Scammells' competitors in business and Damian had been involved in a conflict with the Libertons two years ago, which ended with him being injured by a few Libertons. Since then, he started experiencing discomfort in his legs, which progressed into a complete

But with the damage he’d already done to my back, it would take me more than a week to get out of coma; enough time for Vandal to take care of me permanently. “Damien!” Vandal yelled as he held onto me with one hand while the other burned red hot only inches from my face. The heat was overwhelming. I could feel smoke rise from my skin, but it wasn’t burning yet. Damien rose from the floor slowly; his right arm had been seared raw, reduced to charred muscles and tendon cover bones that were visible in some places. I knew he was severely hurt, I could see it in his eyes how he was battling to stay conscious while his body wanted to shut down so it could repair itself.

I twisted the slightest bit more and heard his cartilage just starting to tear. “Fine! I understand!” Damien growled through the pain. I smirked and shoved him forward. He rubbed his shoulder and glared at me, face red. “You’re barking up the wrong tree.” He said viciously. “I wouldn’t hurt Celeste!” My eyes flashed darkly.

King Damien was surprised when he saw the sincere worried expression Charlotte had . He expected her to be scared of him when she touched his hand and arm . He never thought that she would actually look worried . " Your arm.....you have a wound.......I am really sorry , your majesty . " said Charlotte with a guilty tone . Charlotte looked at the wound to check if it was too deep or not . Damien silently stared at her as she finished checking the wound . " It doesn't look deep but it is damaged on the surface . You have a little bruise too . " said Charlotte .

she gasped and moved closer to him. "You’re hurt Sir,"she said in a worried tone and tried to touch Damian’s injured hand but he pulled it away and shot her a glare. "Are you a flight attendant or a nurse, get the fuck away from me,"he said coldly but the poor woman stood there looking at him, worry written all over her face. "It seems you want to lose you job."The poor woman quickly returned to her post after hearing those words. Damian pulled out the pieces of glass that were stuck in his arm and threw it with the others.

And I couldn’t shake the feeling that she had looked through me—not just at me. Alex dozed off eventually, his breaths growing slow and heavy. I slipped out from under his arm and sat by the mirror. My reflection looked worse than I felt. Blackened bruises laced my ribcage. Blood still crusted the corner of my lip. But the real damage wasn’t skin-deep. I’d seen Damian alive. He was supposed to be dead. He was supposed to be buried along with everything we destroyed after the divorce—the company, the assets, the programs. We burned it all to the ground.

Alexia said with sadness. "Don't worry I will talk to.. "No hairpin and it's final, "Damien said as he buttoned his blazer for Alexia to tear up. "Hold that tears in" Damien firmly said to Alexia who was trying her best to control her tears. " I already paid for the girl's injury and compensation. Take care my love" Damien pecked his wife before Linda took his kid's school pack as they all left. Arrya couldn't help but smile at her little family, she watched as her daughter entered the car sadly while her brother held her close. Her son is too gentle she thought.
