Fred said the moment they turned into the village road. "Don't call me Mr. Luther. I can't get used to that. Just call me Damian," Damian said with a grin. Fred's heart jolted in excitement as he happily claimed, "Sure thing, Damian! By the way, my name is Fred Lane. I just got discharged from the military last year. You can call me Freddie." He was pretty thrilled. There was a world of difference between using either Mr. Luther or Damian. If he used Mr. Luther, it meant they had a strictly work relationship. But if he used Damian instead, it meant they were closer than just a superior and his subordinate. It was no wonder he was excited about it.

I hope you don't mind, but I named her Sienna Makayla Stone." Damian quickly spits out.

I asked in annoyance. “His name is Damian Zade. Canadian origins. Not married, no children, gay judging by the intimate photos we saw of him kissing another man or men actually. His younger brother is named Daniel, he is his right hand man. We couldn’t find any addresses though. Only pictures of them” he said as he dropped two photos on the table in front of us. We all leaned closer to take a look at them. Their names were written on the side of their photos. Damian was apparently in his forties.

It was how I was raised to stand, to show any staring at me that I felt no fear at whatever would happen. “Yes, Father.” I answered. “You named me Damian because the name means to master, and overcome. I kept my fingers poised and raised and I begin to type his name slowly and with determination. DAMIEN BOYCE. When I pressed enter, i hadn't been sure exactly what i was really expecting, but the barrage of photographs, press articles, websites, profiles, and not to mention, a goddamn Forbes cover, was all kinds of overwhelming. Damian's uncle chuckled, fishing my attention from the crowd. “Do you go by Alonzo? Or is there other nicknames that you use?” I gave in, and asked that. Lightly swirling his glass filled with rum, “I go by Alonzo, since I don't have a second name. Why? You don't like my name?” “Hmm? No. Uhm, it's just that I'm married to someone named Alonzo.” “Really?” Damian's uncle sounded suspicious. “But you have only broken up with Damian for weeks? Or I got it wrong.”
