"Damien, what do you really want?" The room fell silent, with only the sound of rain falling outside. After a while, Damien spoke in a cold voice, "Don't you want to continue being Mrs. Salvatore?" He turned, his deep eyes reflecting a mysterious glint. "Since you're so reluctant to give up the title, then enjoy it to the fullest." His tone was calm, but Elena felt a chill sweep over her, enveloping her entire body. The coldness pierced her skin, reaching her heart, sending a shiver down her spine, because she knew what Damien wanted.

He questioned and I nodded my head almost immediately, trying so hard to compose myself and ignore Kathleen’s continuous cry for her mate, He suddenly opened the door wide enough for me to step in, and once I did, I met him. Alpha Damon Donovan. He was seated on a one seater white couch with most of his buttons left undone, and fuck, I couldn't stop myself from staring at his chest, Everything about this man was screaming hot! Let her crawl through the shadows and save you.” He turned, already walking. “Prove it,” he said over his shoulder. “Or rot.”

Damien said, still holding on to me and sniffing my neck, I think to calm himself and his wolf down. "Get your hands off of her!" Xavier growled at Damien, after seeing how close we were and how tightly he was holding me close. "HAHA! Seeing how protective Alpha Damien is with Sasha right now, I'm guessing they're mates," Kyle said with a smirk, which caused Damien to raise an eyebrow. "Yes of course, Sasha is my mate!" Damien said, still holding onto me trying to remain calm.

I finaly finished my chapter and with a smile I saved it and turned off the laptop, I put it down and stood to get something to eat, I was hungry, Damon followed me to the kitchen, he hugged me from behind as I made myself a sandwich I breathed deep as he kissed my neck but I stopped him and moved away, getting a tomato from the fridge, Damon sighed and left the kitchen I briefly wondered what his problem was as I finished making my sandwich, I sat at the table with a glass of apple juice and quickly ate my sandwich. I left for the library, this time I decided to do research, I went on the computer and typed 'Damon Salvatore' in the search bar, it came up with a few results and I smiled but

“He will. Because men like Damien don’t love — they consume.” She swallowed hard. “And you’re different?” “Yes.” She laughed — a tiny, disbelieving sound. “I don’t even know you.” “You should.” My voice dropped lower. “You really should.” She stepped back again, but I grabbed her wrist — gently, not enough to alarm anyone watching, but firmly enough to keep her attention. “Listen to me,” I said. “Damien is spiraling. His obsession is turning into something dangerous. He won’t let you breathe without choking on his shadow.”

“You should thank me. At least someone cares enough to check on you.” He exhaled through his nose, looking away. “Did you call Dami?” I blinked. “For what?” “The news. The attack.” I rolled my eyes and turned back to the stove. “Please. She’s fine. She always is.
