Natasha began, swirling her orange juice, “what’s this important family news you two have been hinting at since last night?”
Her father folded the newspaper, resting his elbows on the table. “We wanted to wait until everyone was together,” he said, glancing at Xavier. “It concerns your brother.”
“Me?” Xavier raised a brow, half-amused. “You’re the ones making it sound mysterious.”
Mrs. Sánchez smiled softly, her tone careful. “Natasha, dear, now that you’re back, there’s something we need to share. Your brother is getting married.”
The juice glass slipped slightly from Natasha’s hand. “Married?” she repeated, blinking. “To who?”
