Cerita diawali dengan kepedihan hati Dewi yang kehilangan puteri pertamanya dalam peristiwa tsunami di Selat Malaka pada bulan Desember 2018, dan meningkatnya pandemi covid19 pada tahun 2020. Banyak orang yang mengalami kepedihan karena kehilangan keluarga dan juga harta tentunya. Demikian pula dengan Dewi. Ia telah kehilangan segalanya, namun pada awal tahun 2020 ia justru dihadapkan pada kenyataan yang lebih pahit, diantara yang manis.
