What library is complete without it?” I blink, staring at her, uncertain if she’s teasing me. “This book was written twenty-five hundred years ago.” Darby scrunches up her face, giving her head a little shake. “Probably not that copy. I lent my original out and never got it back. I picked that one up in some burgeoning little town with a funny name—Eblana, I think— on the east coast of Ireland. That copy’s maybe… eighteen hundred years old.”

His actions will be more sparing because of the thought that the traitor might have the people around him. When lunch came, I ordered Anna to get my food so that I could eat lunch at the library. That book was mysterious. Its design is also different from other books in the library. I tried to think about where I put it. Where did I put that book? I remembered that I just put it in a corner because Damon suddenly entered that time.

"Well, Mr. Wannabe Superman, at least I don't try to act like that." Danial waved his hands dismissively. "Whatever fits your palette, normie." He then sat at his desk and resumed reading the Hellfire technique. Pavan stood beside him, noticing another book on the bed. "Hey, how did you get another book?" Danial replied without looking up, "Because I'm special... and because I asked the librarian and he said yes." Pavan groaned. "Ugh, You have to make it weird. And just to be clear, you're not special."

Daniel moved through the small space slowly, looking at things without urgency. He picked up a sketchbook and felt the weight of it and put it down and picked up another one. He bought three notebooks, two pens and a set of fine liners that he didn’t strictly need but wanted anyway. The woman behind the counter wrapped them in tissue paper without being asked and Daniel felt something loosen slightly in his chest at the small unnecessary kindness of it.

The bar area wasn’t even completely finished, but it was close. I’d always wanted the Sparks to be a cozy spot for book lovers, and it was slowly becoming known for that in the community. As the school semester ended, there was a high chance parents would begin trickling into the store with their children’s summer reading lists. We had a thriving library community in town, but there were only so many copies of each book, so people still came in to purchase some. Grampa and I organized an entire section dedicated to the reading list Sean supplied for us.

Dane The Forest Trails library has been transformed into a war room. Looking over them, I bought a textbook I needed, along with a few more. As I moved towards the literary section, I froze.

The formerly packed road appeared to be nothing more than a façade for the immense library that stood in front of her now. "I -is it for real," Amira exclaimed, her face contorted with surprise. Standing in front of the bookcases, she took a few steps back and looked around. On the subject of number, she believes there are thousands of books in this collection. But hold on a sec. How this library able to fit in Daniel's mansion! "Underground library," Daniel answered, as if he had recognized Amira's query from the look on her face. "Let's just go on a tour first, and then I'll go het some books about the history of Howling Land," Daniel remarked as he turned to walk away from the foor.

They argued over fresh strawberries versus blackberries, settling on both. Later, they ducked into a tiny used bookstore on the edge of State Street. The air smelled like old paper and sunshine. Damien wandered the aisles while she trailed her fingers over cracked spines, poetry, memoirs and battered screenplays from films she’d watched in film school a lifetime ago. He found her by the back window, staring out at the garden behind the store. He held out a plain leather notebook, the cover soft and blank. “For when you’re ready,” he said simply.

NEAH Being Luna is nothing like I imagined. Not that I imagined it much. Two weeks ago I was planning to go to college and take over my mom's self-defense studio. Now I'm standing in the Iron Valley great hall wearing a dress Diane picked out while fifty Shadow Peak wolves stare at me like I'm a science experiment. Which, technically, I am.
