"Hey, Fenton." Fenton looks at me. His broad smile wanes, and becomes curious. He gives me the look I’ve grown accustomed to receiving from men. It's the look that says they find me exotically beautiful, but choose to restrain their reaction out of respect for whatever man happens to be standing next to me. "Hi," Fenton says, offering a casual nod. "My name's Fenton." "Hi. I'm Dana," I reply politely. Fenton snaps his attention back to Alex, shaking his head in disbelief. "Dude, it's been a whole age since I last saw you. How is your sister Fanny doing?"

From his attitude, it was clear that Ernest was in a very high position in the Wind Dancers. "Mr. Fenton, our young friend here doesn't quite agree with our mediation conditions. Do you think you could set him straight?" Ernest asked arrogantly. Silvanus Fenton took a step forward and looked down on Sebastian as he said, "Do you know who I am, kid?" Sebastian didn't even look up as he shook his head and said, "Sorry, I have no interest in knowing who you are!" No interest? Silvanus turned purple with rage. Donny chuckled. He has thick long brown hair that he ties back in a low ponytail, kind chocolate colored eyes, and thick lips. He was the security guard slash bouncer and would tackle and subdue the guys who would cause problems. He was also really funny and would make food for us sometimes. I don’t eat when I’m on the clock and the girls don’t either. I thought it was very thoughtful of him. It was hard to believe he wasn’t a werewolf because of his build. He tried to lie but he knew well enough that Mr. Daniels will see through his lie but funnily enough, Mr. Daniels chose to ignore him to the surprise of the whole class. "Fine. I'll call. Let's see what kind of game you're playing." He pulled out his phone, unlocked it with a sneer, and found the number he'd gotten through a business deal. Then he dialed and put it on speaker. Beep. Beep. The living room went silent. Everyone waited to watch me embarrass myself. The call connected. A calm, authoritative voice came through. "Who is this?" "Mr. Claremont, hello. This is Kent Fenton." His tone instantly turned respectful. Silence. "Kent Fenton?" Elon sounded cold. "Why are you calling me? If this is about the Eastside property, forget it. We don't do business with people who lack integrity."

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

Exactly where is Finn? Is he keeping watch over me on the security cameras like he always does? Or is he acting the part of a bar owner while sitting in a plush office chair, equally as buried in his memories? The vile smell of faeces wafts in through the front entrance, and I wrinkle my nose in distaste. Did the security personnel allow a dog inside? With a large bag of limes in his hand, Dan enters. He is followed by a young woman. I see his crisply polished white shirt and tailored black trousers. One of the best hairdressers in the city styles his hair, and he exudes a casual confidence that would have you believe he was born with a silver spoon shoved down his throat.
