I could see the sweat on her brow now, the panic tightening her shoulders. “Move!” A burst of silver light shot past my ear, slamming into the feral. The creature shrieked, falling backward as steam poured from its chest. I whirled. Valerie stood at the edge of the trees, her red curls wild, her shirt stained, and her usual smile plastered across her face. Beside her was Damien, blood smeared across his cheek, waving his hand and cracking his fingers, smoke now fading from the tip of his fingers. She then noticed Valerie perched on the leather couch beside him, her long legs were tucked beneath her, hair spilling over her shoulder like some perfectly curated fantasy. Scarlett’s voice was raw with pain. “Why? Why are you doing this to me?”

Valerie got off the bed and walked slowly towards the door of the room, which she knew very well was Lusi's room. As she was about to reach for the doorknob, the door immediately opened, followed by Daren, who emerged from there. Valerie fell back on the floor because she remembered what happened to her before she fainted. There is a vampire who wants to harm her. And Daren? Daren is a wolf. The man turned into a wolf right before her eyes.

Stop whatever you're planning now!" She added and Valerie didn't bother looking back at her before leaving the room. Later that evening, Haunter was waiting in the park when he began hearing some footsteps, he turned back to see Valerie and a smile approached his face. "Good evening" she muttered as she greeted him. "Evening, how are you?" He asked and she only just nodded. Haunter noticed the sour look on her face but he decided to shower her up with the good news for the both of them.
