I stood at the entrance of the Silver Claw Pack hospital, the cold wind cutting through me. A black pickup truck slowly pulled up in front of me, the bed filled with freshly picked herbs, the scent of morning dew still clinging to them. The door opened gently, and instead of the driver, it was Danny himself. He stepped out of the truck, walking slowly with a silver cane in hand, his steps steady and strong, the cane tapping rhythmically against the ground. He didn’t ask me to get into the car, but instead, he walked towards me.

I whispered. His little head popped up, "I know auntie but you know things will be better. I mean I'm not suppose to tell you anything but Athea told me to tell you to follow your heart." Danny said, scrunching his little face up. "She said you will know what is right to do." Danny said, looking up at me. I smiled down at him, "You must speak with Athea often." I replied. "I do! She is really nice and she is always watching no matter how terrible things are." Danny replied. "She is really nice. I hope to see her again sometime." I said. "You will soon. Her face filled with relief. “Mommy!” He shouted, running into her arms. “How did it go?” She asked, curiously. He grinned. “It was fun! Everyone stared at my bag,” he said, jumping in excitement. “So, who was that boy you were laughing with? Rose asked. “That’s Danny. He admired my bag, and he watches Spider-Man too.” “I’m happy you loved it,” Rose said, excited and relieved. “We also went to the playground, and I used the swings,” Tyler said, turning back to admire the playground before they left.

I said. Danny clapped me on the back, his expression serious. "Be careful, Lila," he said. "We don't know what we're up against." I smiled, feeling a surge of adrenaline. "Don't worry, Danny," I said. "I've got this." As I walked alongside Danny, our footsteps echoed through the forest. We were on patrol, checking the pack's borders for any signs of trouble. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm orange glow over the trees.
