Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

One touch of its edge was sufficient enough to have the Wielder’s life. ‘Kill the murderer! Kill the murderer!’ chorused Forbinians. Their faces were lit with malice, mercy leaving their hearts. Hearing their voices gave birth to a hundred-fold pain. She could only look down as their eyes brimming with judgment penetrated through her. “Have you or have you not murdered your cousin, Miss Zephaniah Sylvania?” said Dark, wearing his usual shadow, but it assumed the form of a long robe with a hood, quite alike with Death’s trademark costume.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

CEDRIC WHITMORE "The data purges on the dark networks are completely unyielding, Helena," my voice drops like a heavy stone into the quiet of the estate garden as I swirl the herbal fluid inside my glass, my eyes tracking her frantic approach across the stone path. "Our youngest cub possesses a massive deficiency in tactical foresight, and your own mind shares that exact blindness. Did your brain truly believe a dominant faction like the Afolayan Dominion would allow raw digital evidence to simply dissolve into thin air?"

Temptations of an Alpha

Temptations of an Alpha

He glanced at me and I slightly smiled, hoping it could calm him. He sighed. "What is it you wanna talk about?" he asked Nazarus. "Fenris, I know that you are clearly aware of how powerful Darkesta could be. It is not only the werewolf that is at stake now. Darkesta is planning to take over the whole world and we know that even the strongest vampire cannot outsmart his dark powers, only the creature with light powers could." Nazarus could be so jolly and playful but he could also be so serious. His eyes were so focused on discussing things with Fenris and he was so mature-looking.

The Girl of an Old Mansion

The Girl of an Old Mansion

"As long as Si-ri is safe and alive it will drive Mi-sook crazy. Performing dark arts is like dealing with such a person who affects your life deeply and they last with you till your end. Selling your soul to the devil can be an enticing deal as it can bring you everything you want but for every failure the devil asks you to pay back all at one by taking your life. After all he is a master of lies, illusion and seamless greed. Performing this art is also addictive as it eats a person up in greed of power, fire of revenge and in pledge to destroy someone." There is something called a reverse which in case of dark arts causes failure to backfire at the person who performs it. "And it'll backfi

Accepting the darkness

Accepting the darkness

Godric looked at the scene while Uriel guiltily closed his eyes . Lucifel was standing in front of a huge gate, at least five times his size. It was black, a rare color in the sky. Gold symbols were engraved. Uriel had rushed over and wanted to pull the young seraph from the gate when he suddenly laid his hand on the cool stone. To Uriel's surprise, nothing happened. Anyone else who approached the gate got a blow as the gate refused the person. In this case, however, nothing happened. "Lord Lucifel ..." He looked at the gate urgently. "What's this? I feel darkness and suffering behind this gate. ”The dark angel stepped at his side and took the hand of the smaller one in his. "This is the gat

The Alpha’s Regret: My Ex-Mate is a Mafia Legend

I ask, my stomach dropping as a sharp, instinctive wave of dread washes over me. "A dark-web press release just went live five minutes ago," Nyx says, her voice dropping into a heavy, ominous register as she taps the screen, broadcasting the feed down to the main hall's monitor. "Seraphina Duskryn just registered the complete TS defense schematics under her own name with the International Pack Council. She's claiming you stole the files from the Blackmoor vaults before you defected." My blood turns instantly to ice. My hands tremble as I look at the screen, watching Seraphina's smug face displayed right next to my life's work.

"I was serious when I said I won't allow you to go back to them." "This is blackmail." Summer pointed out face darkening. "Don't care." Asher said with a shrug. "I don't think my blackmail is anything compared to their abuse." Huffing Summer turned around and headed back to the bed where she obediently sat down. She fixed her defiant gaze on Asher as he remained unphased a satisfied smile now playing on his lips. "Now, you are going to tell me everything." Asher said as he got himself comfortable ready to have all revealed to him.

They laughed. Later, heading to night class, Dre stopped. Ethan sensed danger. “We know you’re out there. Come out and talk peacefully,” Ethan announced. They emerged from the dark, uniforms on, deadly weapons in hand. “Fvck—they’re trying to kill us!” Dre cursed. “We know you’re not rich kids. Blackwood Academy is for rich kids. Our parents didn’t attend school to let street urchins join. We sniffed you out,” one man said, his drug addiction evident.

DARK SIDES

Yes, that will do. If you guys are wondering what a blind kid is seeing. Well, I can't see anything. That's it. Darkness. Dullness. I can't see but, I thank the heavens every single day that I can still hear them. It's just getting worse day by day. Although I can't be a burden here, I can't do anything but just thank them. They are the light in my dark path. They are my guide and I'm more than thankful for that. Curse that bastard. It's his fault. I can't be what I want to be anymore. I'll just be a bother with my whole life, am I? I can't help it. It's getting worse. I can feel this stupid tears building inside their cage, again. No no. I don't. I won't cry. Not again. Please, don't come o
