A hooded woman stood within the center of the circle. Ancient symbols glowed beneath her feet. Red energy pulsed through the stone floor. The woman smiled. A terrible smile. The kind that belonged to monsters. "You failed." Rick clenched his jaw. Corey's former Beta looked far different than he had weeks ago.

This light portal wasn't a normal gateway; it was like a door lying on the ground. Slowly the clamor of hundreds of dark beasts within the Fog Barrier faded away. These dark beasts were trapped by Adrian. Losing their footing, they entered the world of the Immortal Ark's core. Adrian didn't worry about putting these dark beasts into the Immortal Ark's core.
